Okay, I just watched the live action Kim Possible movie, and, BOY was I blown away! I l’amour how they stayed true to Kim's physical features and how they paid homage to other stuff in the original show, from Bueno Nacho and the Naco to the show's original theme song. The only complaint I have is that the movie didn't feature Monique. That peeved me. I can understand why they didn't feature the other villains because they can't cram an entire montrer into a 90 minute/2 heure movie. posté il y a 5 mois

One thing I absolutely loved is that they payed homage to her grandmother's fighting roots from an episode of the show. When I saw her grandmother reveal her dojo, I was like "Holy s**t, I remember that episode!". It brought back God knows how many memories from my childhood. Another thing I liked (and hated) is the movie featured Bonnie. During one part, I thought they were actually frenemies, but as that storyline progressed, I was like "Yep, she's still the same ole stuck up character we all loved to hate.". One thing that threw me off was in the movie, Kim and Ron both start high school in this movie when they were already in high school during the show. Plus, I didn't really care for the live action Mr. Bargan. The writers kinda turned him into a dork. That's another thing I want to talk about. What also threw me off was he was, not only the principle of the school, but also the teacher for just about every single class. *Continues in the suivant comment* il y a 5 mois

I'd like to mention the new character, Athena. She was okay, but her quirkiness and her tendency to ramble turned me off. I have afew things I liked about her, though. She DID remind me of Monique in some parts of the movie. Another turnoff is the minute she stepped out of the hair salon, she suddenly became like she tried to fill Kim's shoes, even without knowing it. Then, she becomes the populaire girl in school and shadows Kim without know THAT, either. Here's the kicker. It blew me away when I saw her working for Dr. Draken and Shego. Another thing that blew me away was she had been saved and became the hero. I kinda disliked how Dr. Draken wasn't blue enough. He still had his characteristics, but still. Shego, though, I LOVED how they did her! She looked JUST LIKE her counterpart! I think I like the live action version of her better. One plus thing, I loved how they stayed true to Ron. His hair looks different, but that's all I'm gonna give away. I'd definitely recommend the movie. il y a 5 mois

I do want to apologize about, not only giving away spoilers, but also about this review being all over the place. The last couple days have been stressful for me. il y a 5 mois

Earlier this afternoon, I saw Ghostbusters: Afterlife with my dad. While the movie was suspenseful at times, it DID have some not-so good parts. I didn't really like how Podcast would get socially awkward with Phoebe. (I know that's comedy, but still.) Grooberson had some awkward moments, too, but some weren't as bad as Podcast's. Aside from the rather boring parts, the suspenseful parts literally had my cœur, coeur racing. In fact, I was on the edge of my seat. *Continued in comments* posté il y a 7 mois

Every time somebody tracked down a ghost ou fought off a ghost, my adrenaline rush came and went about 150 miles an hour. (Then again, some of that could've also been the extra salty pop corn, maïs soufflé talking.) All in all, I was very impressed with how it was made, especially the ending. Seeing the original team come together again really sealed it for me. The parts where the ghostly Egon and Callie interacted with each other just tugged on my heartstrings. In fact, I may ou may not have teared up watching that. I loved how they showed the remaining 3 ghost hunters returning to NYC and how they also used the iconic song at the end credits! il y a 7 mois

If toi asked me to rate the movie from 1 out of 10, I would probably give it a 7 1/2. While it had some not so likable parts, and a rather predictable one, where Trevor immediately tried to get Lucky's attention, it had some jaw dropping moments as well. My old man was really impressed with Mckenna Grace's performance as was I. I do recommend the film to anyone who wants to see it. (NOTE: If toi haven't seen it, I apologize for the spoilers ahead!!!) il y a 7 mois
