Sam sipped a cup of limonade from his shady seat, watching the men sweat in front of him, rushing to get everything prepared for his 4th of July party. Sam almost felt bad for it, but he enjoyed watching the men work. He enjoyed knowing their lives were in his hands. He felt like a god.
One man stumbled, dropping some items and frantically picking them up. Sam pretended not to see. He heard something and turned to see Tim canard, drake walk up beside him.
"Tim." Sam said.
"Grant." the boy replied in a less hospitable tone."
"How'd toi get past security? No Gothamites allowed near me."
"You need better security." was the boy's only response.
"What do toi need?" Sam asked tiredly.
Tim looked nervous. "Some help actually."
The twenty-five an old billionaire raised his eyebrows. "Go on." he said, sitting up in his chair.
"I--Its about Cassie."
"You're alone dude." Sam said, returning to his former relaxing position. "The girl and I hate each other. Especially since she discovered I had been working with Ravager."
"We're all acide, sure about that."
"Speaking of which--"
"Nightwing's training her. She's fine."
"Good."
"But I meant something else, Sam." Tim said. Sam thought the boy was spending too much time as Robin. He was hiding in the shadows of the trees suivant to Grant. "Cassie and I are dating and I...I need some conseil toi might say."
Sam was literally speechless. "Uh, in case toi hadn't noticed, I've had three girlfriends, two of which are across the world and hate me, one is in a wheelchair because of me."
Tim was totally caught off guard. "You and Barbara--?"
"For a little while, yes." Sam said. He refilled his glass and took a long sip.
"Still. You've had three girlfriends over thirteen years. I came to toi for help. Maybe prevent me from landing in your position?"
Sam sighed. "All I can say is supprimer any files on how to take her down unless they're Batman's. Don't install a kill-switch in her suit--" Timothy was once again caught off guard. "But mainly, treat her better than anyone you've ever talked to." Sam paused. "I don't see the issue here. toi did fine with Stephanie. Just replicate that."
Tim frowned and brushed away a tear. "Look where she's at." Tim replied. "I abandoned her when she made a mistake and she was dissected, thrown to the hyenas, and Black Mask is still at large."
