here are some poems/songs i wrote recently. hope u like them.

here i am now, missing you,
i need to let go now and know the truth
it wasn't right, that l’amour i had for you,

toi didn't know,
i couldn't tell,
too shy to say, 'i l’amour you',
i slipped by, so alone,wondering if toi thought of me, too
but now i'm gonna let go,

see the sun rise,
watch a baby play,
sing a song and
go dancing in the rain

all without a single thought of you,
i'm gonna let go and enjoy myself
without toi there at all,

i'm gonna learn someday that happiness
is not defined with your name
so toi can déplacer on now,
i'm forgeting us,
let's both go on now

and i'm trying
to forget us
but your memories won't letgo of my heart

i must go on
have to live in your absence
even though
you're my life and breath

In middle school there are always groups there are the popular's with their clothes’, make up, money, and fame.

Then there are the nerds with their books, notes, pencils, and beakers for science class.

The musicians and artists with their instruments, voices, paintbrushes, and masks.

The actors and actrices with all their props, costumes, make up, and outgoingness.

Then there are the gangs though there aren’t many in our school with all the bling. Boom boxes and baggy clothes.

That jour I thought I was a failure. I was sitting outside our house on a bench in my white dress, just staring at the dark sky while raindrops were running down my cheeks. It could have been tears as well, all I knew was that it was raining pretty hard.

As twilight fell over Paris, it was as though reality loosened its hold. The ancient and modern buildings battled for domination of the street, and of one’s senses. The juxtaposition of old and new was on the precipice of being overwhelming. We were all caught in limbo between the past and present.

I woke up in my twin bed, blanket pulled up to my quivering chin, lamp on the bedside table, tableau turned on because I forgot to turn it off last night, my feet hanging off the bottom of the bed, as always. But today would be different. I rolled out of lit and shut off my lamp, opened up my butter-yellow curtains, and let the rising sun shine on my face. I admired the looming hills in the distance. The empty hillsides were my savior, my escape, my haven. I slowly stripped off my dentelle nightgown, eyes never leaving the hills, and pulled on a formal blue dress and some pure white flats, my fanciest outfit....
