Endless Pain: Chapter Four
“Selena!” Taylor shouted. She stood up and waved to Selena who stood across from her in the cafeteria. “Over here!”
“Sit down, Taylor!” Demi said, tugging on Taylor’s shirt. “You weird enough as it is.”
“Sorry.” Taylor sat down and crossed her arms.
“Hey guys,” Selena said. She set her tray down and started eating.
Demi and Taylor exchanged glances.
“What’s going on?”
“Nothing.” Taylor said. Demi elbowed her. “Wha- oh…” Her eyes drifted to where Selena sat.
“Really, Taylor? Really?”
“Okay. So there’s this new guy in school and he’s really cute and I think toi guys would make a great couple. I wanted to tell toi but Demi a dit not too. So I kept the secret all morning just to blow it at lunch. I’m s-”
“We get it, Tay.” Demi a dit putting her hand over Taylor’s mouth.
“Sorry.”
“Why didn’t toi guys tell me?” Selena asked.
“Because toi still getting over Da-“
“Hey guys!” Miley said.
“Miley,” Demi a dit seriously. “What are toi doing here?”
“I just wanted to sit here with my best friends!” Leaning over, she hugged Selena.
“Get off of me!” Selena a dit pulling away. “Go away. toi not our friends.”
“You’re our enemy!” Taylor added.
“Hey!” Miley said, trying to defend herself. “I’m just trying to be friends.”
“Well, toi can be Friends with someone else.” And on the argument went. But Selena got tired, never making an input.
“They won’t even realize I’m gone.” She thought. So she got up and walked around, looking for this “new” kid. Spotting him, she walked over and asked, “Alone?”
The boy looked up. His brown eyes shown as he said, “Yeah.”
Selena thought she die right there and then. The way he spoke; the way his eyes sparkled; he was perfect. She sat down across from him, worried she would do something stupid.
“I know what it’s like to be a new kind.” Selena a dit as she sipped her milk. “I was one six months ago. So what’s your name? I’m Selena.”
“Taylor.”
“Oh, I know a Taylor.”
“Really?”
“Yeah. But she’s a girl.”
“Oh.”
“So, where are toi from? Around the area ou far away?”
“I’m a transfer student from Michigan.”
“Really? That’s cool.”
“Really?” Taylor asked, as if in shock.
“Yeah.” Selena replied. “I’ve never met anyone from Michigan.”
They talked this way through out lunch. Soon the cloche, bell rang.
“Hey,” Taylor a dit as he stood up. “Do toi wanna hang out some time?”
Just then Selena froze. “Sure, I’d l’amour that.” Was all she could manage to say.

“Where did toi go during lunch?” Demi asked as she, Selena and Taylor walked home.
“Yeah, Selena.” Taylor added. “You were there, then toi weren’t!”
“I met Taylor.”
“Um, I’m right here.” Taylor a dit gesturing towards herself.
“No you. The new kid. He’s from Michigan, toi know.”
“No I don’t.” Demi said. “But toi never answered my question.”
“You guys were fighting and pointless fight with Miley.” Selena answered. “Happy?”
“I guess you’re right.” Demi apologized.
“It’s okay.”
“Come on!” Taylor said. “Let’s hang out at my house.”
“Sure!” Selena said. “Let me tell my mom and drop off my backpack.” Selena ran up the driveway and opened the door. “Mom! I’m going over to Taylor’s!”
“Okay, sweetie.” Mom replied. “Be back before dinner!”
“I will!” Selena stepped back outside and caught up with her friends. They walk into Taylors house, a dit hi to her mom and walked up the stairs to her room.
“Guys,” Selena started as she sat down on a bean-bag chair. “I need to tell toi something.
When toi Have To Choose Between 2 Possibilities:
1.Take your time.The most important thing is not to make a decision in a hurry.
2.Make a liste of the positive and negative points for both opinions.Then decide which points are most important and compare the two lists.
3.If toi ask other people for their advice,don't ask plus than 1 ou 2.If toi ask a lot of people,this will probably confuse you.
4.Use your imagination to help you.Imagine yourself in both situations.How do toi feel?Relaxed ou stressed?
5.When you've made a decision,wait a bit before toi tell other people,to see how toi feel.If toi feel comfortable with your decision after an hour,you have probably made the right decision.
6.Finally,remember that toi can't have everything.Choosing one of two possibilities always means that toi can't have the one toi didn't choose.And it's impossible to always make the right decision!
