Chapter Three
Mason stared off at the window. Was this new emotion joy ou sadness? He couldn't tell. When toi think about it, his life isn't all that complicated. He could be in a worse situation like having to remodel the house after a natural disaster hit. Instead he was a millionaire with girl problems. His father offered to have "the talk" with him but he refused. Cassidy had came par this morning. She asked him out on a rendez-vous amoureux, date and he a dit sure. He couldn't believe he a dit that.
There was something interesting about Cassidy. She had long black hair and émeraude green eyes. She could be funny ou mysterious either way worked for her. Her laugh was whimsical and he couldn't help but to laugh. He wasn't even thinking about that other girl.
It was almost time for his date. He stared at himself in the mirror. Everything was in order. Mason was confused on whether he should be casual of dressy so he aims for both. He wore a navy blue blazer over his light blue veste and a white shirt. His jeans were dark blue and his shoes was black leather. He looked good. He tried making his jet black hair stay flat but it had its own wishes.
"Mr. Montgomery, someone special is here," beeped Chelsea from the front office. It was probably Cassidy. They planned on having a romantic dîner rendez-vous amoureux, date in his office overlooking the sky.
"Knock, knock," a dit Cassidy as she entered his office with a picnic basket. "I cooked some of your favorite." She laid out a blanket and set the basket in the middle.
"Spaghetti?" he questioned. She nodded. She relaxed right beside him. "Let's talk about your job."
"Okay, I'm playing Charlotte. What else is there to know?" She asked. She wore a white camisole, capri pants, and some silver sandals. "I know she is like a girl who falls in l’amour with a vampire named Isaac. In the end I l’amour Adam, my fun-loving best friend."
"Okay, just remember we start shooting tomorrow." He took a bite into his spaghetti which he already cut into pieces. "And I still need an assistant." He tapped the buzzer to contact Chelsea. "Hey Chelsea, find me an assistant for tomorrow's shooting."
"Yes sir, Mr. Montgomery," she replied.
"I l’amour how toi take control," commenté Cassidy. Mason was taken off-guard par the complement. He has never been in the company of a woman who wasn't an actress working for him.
"Uh, thanks," he replied uneasily.
She rested her manicured hand on his shoulder. A chill went down his back making him shiver. She ignored it. "I like you, a lot but I do need plus scenes with me in it." She kissed his cheek. "I've seen the script and I'm barely in it. I may be the lead role but still! I'm either dead ou being held captive in this movie. Change it."
"Um sure thing," he a dit a little daze. Her appearance was so overwhelming for him since he hadn't had a girlfriend in years and she knew that. "I'll get right on it." He leaned vers l'avant, vers l’avant to Kiss her again but she shielded her face with her hand.
"Want some plus spaghetti?" She asked quickly.
Olivia went to Montgomery Studios today. She wanted to make sure she could get her job back. It was almost impossible for Mason to already have hired someone else. She knew he was desperate for an actresses. She thought she was going to put him out of his misery. She really needed this job. At the front bureau was a blonde haired woman with a headset on.
"Hello, welcome to Montgomery Studios. How may I help you," she asked Olivia.
"Um I'm here for the role of charlotte in the movie Hourglass," she replied. The lady was busy scribbling in her notebook. Did she even hear Olivia?
"I'm sorry but that role has been cast," she retorted.
"That can't be I was scheduled to come," Olivia reasoned.
"Name," the woman asked.
"Olivia Meyers," she answered.
"You was suppose to come yesterday." The woman went straight back to the notebook and talking into the headset. Olivia was officially dismissed. "I'm sorry but I hadn't been able to find an assistant yet, Mr. Montgomery." She a dit into her headset. A wild idea popped into Olivia's head. If she couldn't be an actress why not be an assistant!
"Im sorry, did I say I was here for jouer la comédie job," Olivia shook her head as if the idea was ludicrous. "No, I'm here for the assistant job."
The lady pulled out a clipboard and pen. "Sign here, here, and there." She pointed to each line without even looking. Her notebook work was far plus important. "Meet Mr. Montgomery at the haut, retour au début floor. toi two have much to discuss."
Olivia smiled. She was finally getting a better job. She won't work minimum wage. She will probably be getting hundreds of dollars a day. Best part was that she was going to be working really close to Mason.
When she arrived to the haut, retour au début floor, she found the door to his room unlocked. She peered inside to see Mason sitting on the floor s’embrasser some girl with black hair. "Sorry to intrude but the lady at the bureau told me to come up here," Olivia explained. Mason just motioned for her to sit over par his bureau without coming up for air.
When they finally broke away, he a dit goodbye and turned to face his unexpected assistant. "Ah!" He screamed shock. "Why are toi here?"
"I am your new assistant," she whispered.
"Are toi like stalking me?" He asked. "First I see toi at the cafe and now toi are pretending to be my assistant. Where is my real assistant?"
"I am toi real assistant," she insisted. Maybe it was a bad idea. "Look my car broke down and I just couldn't make it in time. I really wanted the part though.'
"Whatever, just put this on your liste of things to do: first I need toi to tell the director, producer, and everyone else working on the movie to add plus scenes with charlotte in them. suivant I need for toi to help me rewrite the scripts. Lastly, I need help on cooking. I promised Cassidy I would cook her a fantastic meal tomorrow evening." Olivia scribbled as fast as she could, no wonder the front bureau woman was glued to her notebook.
"Okay, got it," she said.
He paused as if waiting for something. "Well, go do it!" Olivia dashed off to go complete her first assignment.

Kayla was raped in her own house.
What's more, her dad is reported to have committed suicide. Before he even heard that his own daughter needed him.
When I was little, I always had the blind faith in my mom. That she would always know which way to turn on the road. That if we got lost, everything would be fine.
That she would never desert me. Like Kayla's father has.
The girl is slumped against the wall, crying. You'd think that you'd eventually run out of tears, but toi don't. It's just that, after a while, maybe toi just don't have the strength to carry on any more.
toi can dry up the tears toi see, but toi can never dry up the tears your cœur, coeur sheds. Because when toi cry, your cœur, coeur gives up a little piece of itself that will always grieve. Always. I have every reason to know.
I put my hand on her shoulder, and she doesn't shake it off.

I hate you
But I just can’t seem to break you
Do I want toi here?
Do I want toi gone?
Everyone says your such a tease
But not to me
Are toi real?
Are toi fake?
Do I need to be
With this drama queen
toi spout lies
No truth to be found
Why am I still
Trying to see the good in you?
Is it worth it?
Should I listen to them?
They tell me to go
Before I’m a victim
Of toi mighty undoing
I won’t fall
I’ve made a promise
Can I keep it?
Will I leave?
Will I remain?
Promises
Sins
They all appear
The same
Lies

I’m listening to you
I can’t break you
I’m falling now
No one to catch me
Do I leave now
That I’ve fallen
Are toi worth my time?
Am I worth this pain?
God, help me choose
For this is not my decision
Any longer
I’ve put my faith in my despair
Now montrer me the answer
Tell me what to do
Do I stay
