Do songs come from poems?

Are songs poems I've told they are. If not will a songwriter ou poet explain why it isn't.

I would think so. écriture a poem and a song are too very similar things. poems are what rappers use when they are écriture a rap because with a poem, it rhymes. and they rhyme so . . .

Not necessarily. A "typical" song would have verses, usually 1-3, a chorus, and a bridge. Poems can follow any number of different rhyme schemes with different numbers of lines, ou be free verse. Songs can also be free as in they don't have to follow the typical model.
