Chapter Eighteen
Two days il y a we started planning my sister’s engagement ball and now it was Friday the night of the ball. I got up and headed down to my sister’s room since all three of us would be getting ready there. When I walked in, I saw our dresses on three dress forms with jewelry and shoe options suivant to them. My sister was sitting in one of the three chairs with a foot bath for pedicures and Miele was on her right so I took the chair on the left. From 11 am to 1 pm we got our French manicures, after nails we spent 2pm to 5pm getting hair and make done, and finally from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm we got dressed since the ball would begin at seven even though our entrance wasn’t until everyone was seated for dîner at 7:30 pm. Once the clock stroke seven, the three of us met up with Helia before waiting behind the curtains of the grand stair case that lead to ballroom.
Chapter Nineteen
After waiting we heard our father say please welcome the youngest princess of Linphea Princess Miele. The crowd clapped loudly and once the applause stopped my father a dit welcome Princess Krystal of Linphea. I smiled as I walked to the staircase to stand suivant to my sister and my mother. The crowd died down as our father a dit now the reason we are all here is to celebrate the return of the oldest princess and the engagement between my daughter Princess Flora of Linphea and Prince Helia of Isis. All of applauded as the two walked down the grand staircase. The smile of her face was huge, and I couldn’t be happier for her as the two took the floor for the first dance as the meals were served. As the two of them dance, I imagined what it would be like if a guy asked me to dance. Our father opened the dance floor, after Helia and Flora were done dancing and headed to our table, tableau to eat dîner with us. Once I finished my meal, I felt a tap on my shoulder and as I turned around I saw it was a prince. He introduced himself as Prince Daniel of Isis and asked if I would like to dance with him. I a dit yes and smiled as he led me towards the dance floor. I thought to myself that it was funny that Helia’s younger brother asked me to dance, but I didn’t care at least I finally got to dance with someone. As the night progressed on, it felt like a dream yet there was this eerie feeling like something bad was going too happened and I think my sister knew too. At the stroke of midnight we all found out what it was.

Flora’s P.O.V
The ballroom doors swung open as black mist rolled in. I yelled for everyone get to safety as I transformed. The Winx came to my side and asked what they should do. I told them I told them take care of my people and my family first par getting them into the ballroom in the north hallway. They nodded as the led the group of frantic people to the other side of the palace. I saw Krystal comforting Miele on the other side of the room, so I quickly flew over to them. I told Krystal sis, toi take her to safety and I’ll fight off whatever this is. For the first time I saw Krystal cry as she a dit what about you? toi won’t survive if toi fight this on your own. I gave her a hug before putting a protection bubble around them while walking them to the staircase as I a dit sis, this is my battle and it always will be plus this kingdom needs toi and Miele more. The kingdom did fine with toi being the princess to make the decisions, so I need toi to be sûr, sans danger even when I’m not. She cried and it pained me to watch my sisters cry this much, but I knew I couldn’t let them get hurt. I looked towards the doors where a shadowy figure now stood surrounded par Eric and his army. I knew I had to protect my family even if that meant I died trying. I hissed what do toi want Eric? He smirked you know what I want and we are going to get it because in order for our master’s plan to go through we need you. I tensed up and hid my weakness while saying no matter what I will never rejoindre toi because I will die trying to protect my kingdom. I might have been living in fear for the past four years, but coming back here made me realized the one person I was afraid was myself, so when my family trusted me I gained all the power I need to fight your pathetic little army off. Eric crossed his arms as he a dit what makes toi think toi have a chance of winning against our master. I laughed as I a dit because toi and your little nonmagical weaklings are already stuck, so now it’s a fair one on one battle. He screamed what! I laughed and a dit I’ll make toi all a little deal. If I win toi all must return to the dark woods were toi all of toi will be trapped there for the rest of your lives. However if I surrender, I will come with toi but if I die then no one wins, so do we have a deal? The shadowy figure progress towards me and a dit we have a deal as he shot a beam towards but I was able to reflect back and it hit Eric. He was down, but fear would be the thing to stop me and fear comes from within. With every hit I reflected with light and l’amour the shadow grew weaker, and I grew stronger but at the same time I knew even if I won I would lose my life.
