I am aware of the current earthquake in Japan. I have doanated, and I am hoping (not praying) for the best.
I hear about it a lot, and it's starting to get on my nerves a little.
Yes, I know that that's a very harsh thing to say, but the same thing happened to me with the Haiti earthquake. I feel, well, I don't know...neutral about it.
I do feel bad, but I'm not crying. I see it everywhere. People say, "PRAY FOR JAPAN!" I am. I don't need to hear it again. I am aware of the current situation. It is saddening. I don't want it repeated to me a million times, ou it'll get on my nerves. It's funny how long something stays in the news. Just enough to bug you.
I don't know what to say. I feel sorry. That's all. People have been talking about it a little too much for me to stand. It's a natural disaster. It will happen. People will get relief. Everything will be alright.
I want to hear another story. Something plus enlightening. Did they get saved?
I wish the best for Japan, but these are just my opinions.

katreana I agree with you. It is saddening to hear the bad news and I am praying for them. I just hope that everything will be alright (you can't be to sure that it will). With God's help it will be alright. I just hope that many people will be generous enough to lend a helping hand. Best wishes for Japan.

JadeEyes me, i am praying that my favorite manga author didnt get hurt, buty otherwise i am neutral on the whole thing. earthquakes happen after all.

xxXsk8trXxx I've been around very religious people my whole life, and this whole "God will cure everything" thing is bothering to me. I have no problem with people who belive in God, though.

r-pattz She did say "with God's help," you know. She's not saying God will solve all the problems; just that God can help humans solve them.

xxXsk8trXxx To me, it seemed as if she was saying that God would help the situation. If she didn't, it was probably a misunderstanding.

r-pattz What I meant was, she's saying God will HELP, not that "God will cure everything." I see a huge difference between the two. Saying God will help seems okay to me, because it's faith without completely lazing out and doing nothing positive.

Spinner13 I'm quite upset about the whole earthquake and flood business right now, because Glenn Beck (who is apparently a bastard now) went on Fox News and tried to say that Japan deserved what happened for not being completely Christian. Being a Pagan myself and very worried abotu Japan it seriously pissed me off, but even devout Christians were coming on the other shows and saying 'No, we do not support this view at all.' So I'm praying to the GODS for Japan. I'm not angry at people who aren't devastated over it, but I don't think it should be off the news yet.
