Genre: mystery, suspense, romance, mild action
TDL's Note: I'm écriture a new story. This one is rather dark. The first part is very short; it is only the prologue.

The air was filled with the scent of wet concrete. The moon shown down on the lifeless zoo, the only source of light. Puddles covered the ground from the storm that passed through the city hours ago. An eerie silence swept over the exhibits.

Through the silence, faint footsteps moving from puddle to puddle were heard, getting louder and louder. He came from the shadows and out into the moonlight, and took a breath of the fresh air. He moved quickly and quietly, not to disturb the sleeping animals.

He stopped at his destination. He stared into the exhibit, and a smile spread across his face. It was not a pleasant, sane smile, but a smile of pure hatred and evil. He sighed happily and chuckled to himself as he quietly and full heartedly entered the exhibit.

The smile only grew wider when he crept closer to the sleeping creature. When he was only a few inches away from the animal, he held out his arm. The couteau he gripped gleamed in the moonlight. He let out another chuckle. There was going to be a murder tonight.

ThatDamnLlama ^ hmm, thanks for the idea, haha. i know who the victim is, but to tell the truth, im still deciding who the murderer is. it could be... knocktimerico for all we know, haha xP oh, and 4.5? geez, you people are tough raters. oh well, i guess im worse. =P

aldude999 well it is one of thoes prologues that "pulls you in" and it does a pretty good job at it!

ThatDamnLlama thanks again. my last story i was working on did poorly. it got somewhat good reviews, but the writing, i do admit, was pretty crappy - it didn't have a good plot, and i didn't choose a good topic; and it was kinda cliche. i also ran out of ideas. so i abandoned it and went for a new, fresh start.

aldude999 Well one thing i look for when reviewing fanfic is how realistic the characters are. So if you have a story, try to keep it true to the characters and what they do ;D

ThatDamnLlama yeah, thats pretty hard, since when you're writing a story, you kind of throw a part of your personality into the characters, to make things easier to write. or maybe (like me) you do it unintentionally. but this time, im going to try my hardest to stay true to the characters' personalities.

aldude999 I know what you mean, when i was doing the rp i had trouble with that, but i find it easyer to write the story and go back and edit it to sound like what they talk right. Good luck whith your story

The night was young about to storm the thunder was distant and long it was sprinkling outside we wanted to play something before it started to pour.
So we decided to play hide and seek I was the seeker first so the first manchot, pingouin i found was Rico and then Skipper and Kowalski and Lily.

so i hid it the hotdog cart.kowalski was hiding in the éléphant habitat and skipper and lily hid together.
