Finally, all sat at the table, tableau with Lara. “I'm sorry that I appearing in the middle of the night but it's important.”
“We are always ready.” Skipper said.
“What is so important.” Asked Private.
“I need help. But first I must tell toi something.”
Flashback one an ago:
I have a brother, a beautiful white cat. He and I were strays. We just lived there, where we liked it! One jour we came to New York. My brother and I lived on the crumbs of people. We also hunted mice, but in winter we lived almost exclusively of garbage!
Last year, in December, my brother wanted to eat no plus garbage.
He wanted to go into the city and steal the people their fresh food. I stopped him.
Stray animaux are locked to the shelter! To sit all jour in mini cages and wait for an infant entrains you. No way!
He promised me, he won’t go. But he did it! That night he went on his way to town.
When I woke up the suivant morning, he wasn’t back yet. I knew immediately where he was.
I immediately followed his scent trail, but then I Lost his scent.
After a few days had passed I saw a car. An officer got out and ran into a house with a net. Then he came out, with a small cat in the net.
She had a beautiful sand-colored fourrure and unusually dark brown eyes.
He put the cat in a cage and drove away.
I did not know where this man would Request par the cat, but I would give everything to get her free .
I jumped in the car, just before he closed the back door and cracked with my claws the lock.
The name of the cat was Weia.
I asked her, if she had seen my brother, and she knew where he was!
She saw how he was taken a couple of days il y a in a car like that. Now I knew what I have to do.
I told her that I would stay in the car and a dit goodbye. Then the car stopped. When the door was opened I jumped out and ran toward the building. I heard the scientists talk about him. He had been used as a guinea-pig. It went wrong! He mutated into a monster! The scientists a dit they had killed him.
My brother was dead!
So I went on my way home. It was dark and I decided to sleep in the forest.
But suddenly, I was awakened par a noise. I looked around and hissed into darkness.
Suddenly something jumped at me from the side. I knew immediately who it was.
My brother!
But how can that be? He is dead!
I pushed him from me and as he stood in the moonlight, I saw why he was still alive.
He had mutated! To a mixture of dog and cat ... only worse!
His eyes were red like blood.
His beautiful white manteau was now black!
A dark black, which looked like it would absorb everything!
He jumped at me and pushed his claws through my coat.
We fought and fought until he had enough and disappeared into the darkness.
But I would let him escape so easily.
He had mutated and who knows how dangerous he was!
I pursued him until he finally arrived at his destination.
Harvard!
Of course! The Portal!
Even when he was still normal, he was mad about that portal.
He had seen it on television, as they had stolen waste from the human.
He wanted it!
He wanted to rule the world!
He wanted the people to eat dirt and not the strays!
I had to stop him!
The portal was not finished, but enough in order to rule the world.
How it works, I'll tell toi later.
I snuck into the lab and a volé, étole the portal.
But my brother followed me. He wanted the portal! Even if he had to kill me for it!
I couldn’t do anything else, I had to fight him.
It was a tough fight. I hurt him, he hurt me.
And I also got this scar.
Then I got an idea.
I bit on the portal, which opened.
Then I let it fall to the ground and quickly brought me to safety.
No idea what happened then. My brother was gone! In the portal!
It laid closed to the floor. My brother was trapped inside.
I was not too worried. I found a collier in the garbage, and with some skilful I managed to use the portal as a pendant.
Now, I always wore my brother with me.
When I finally came to New York again, I found Weia.
I lived with her for a few days and told her about my brother and the necklace.
It turned out that she knew much about it!
What the portal exactly is, I will tell toi later, but it had been a mistake to lock my brother in the trailer.
A big mistake ...!...
