The same thing I do with everyone who's depressed. I strike up a conversation to talk the problem out in detail. I know from personal experience how comforting it can be when toi have someone who simply listens and understands your pain. I'm a good listener too but I also try to give advice, especially if I dealt with a similar problem before. I'd make her some hot cacao as well. Then if we sat down and talked everything out, I'd offer my help in solving the problem that made her depressed. I'd do anything in my power to make her happy.
