I know I post with break of like FOREVA, :P,
but I just can't make it. I don't even think I'll be here from Friday to Tuesday cause I have a friend from Czech republic coming.

“Dad?” Hugh heard a familiar voice coming down the hallway. He had almost forgotten his daughter was in the house. Becca had came to visit a few weeks before and she just never left.
“I'm in the bedroom!” Hugh shouted from the door, starting his way to Rebecca's room. He knocked on the door and soon heard a 'come in'.

When he got inside, he got what to see. She was playing guitare hero on the Wii. Like she always did.
“What's going on?” She a dit not aborting the game and trying to score even higher. Hugh was proud of his daughter's skills. The girl could play!
He would like it even plus better if she actually got herself to play the real thing.

“Lisa came by...” Hugh told her approaching the bottom of her lit and retrieving another guitare to rejoindre his daughter in the game.
“Lisa was here?” Becca a dit a bit amused, suddenly losing the game. “And she didn't say Hi?”
The thing was, Becca really didn't like the whole situation with Hugh and her mother and while Billy and Charlie weren't supportive of Hugh wanting to divorce, Becca was plus than open to the idea.
The first thing that she never liked about her parent's marriage was, that it had never been really working. They had almost been like pretending everything had been fine, until one day, they'd stopped pretending and just left the things as they were.
Every time Becca came to visit her father to US, no matter if it had been alone, ou with her siblings,
she hadn't failed to notice there had been something going on with her father and his co-star, Lisa.

At first, she hadn't been happy about it all, mainly because she had been an 11 an old girl at the time she had thought something had been fishy.
However, Lisa had soon become a part of her life and even though her brothers hadn't been really keen on their father having an affair again, Lisa grew on Becca.
And yes, she had been too young to realize what had been happening all the times Hugh and Lisa had gotten into a fight, but Becca knew she hadn't liked it.

Now soon to be 17, she was plus than aware of what was happening between her father and her.. Lisa,
and she was sad that the undying l’amour that she used to see every day, ended up like this.
In fights, in accusing and yet, friendship.
It was a complete weird thing no one (that knew they had been together) could understand.

Becca loved Lisa, and the fact that she didn't even say 'Hi' made Becca hurt a little, and ask herself what on Earth must have happened to make Lisa forget to say a small 'Hello'.
She always came to greet Becca no matter what, what the heck happened that she had to forget?

“Um... yeah... She kind of didn't have time” Hugh replied, starting a game of his own.
“What the hell did toi do this time?” Becca put her hands off the guitare and looked at her father accusingly.
“Watch your words, little lady!” Hugh a dit sternly, not dropping his gaze from the flat screen.
“You're deflecting” Becca smirked a bit knowing her dad hated that word. He couldn't stand that word brought in a sentence when it was meant for him. It was House's 'word', House's MO, Hugh didn't want to be connected to that.

“She told me to put the ring back on, gone all 'I'm involved with someone else, and you're not making it any easy'...” proving his daughter wrong, Hugh continued pressing a few of the colorful digits that were supposed to stimulate a guitar. The real thing was 956346 better.

“She still doesn't want to get back with you?” Becca a dit in a low voice, looking at her guitar, wanting her dad's words not to be 'no'
“I don't think so... I can't blame her... She doesn't want to get hurt anymore, and she certainly doesn't want me to let her down... again... ou should I say for the 4th time.” Hugh tried to laugh it off but Rebecca knew her dad was just masking the pain he was in.
She knew how much he loved Lisa, she knew that he'd made some huge mistakes in the past, but they deserved each other. They deserved each other so much.

“You are aware that she just went and found a younger copy of you” Becca smirked as she saw Hugh lose the game. Even the greatest had to fall.
“You're comparing me to John guy?” Hugh raised an eyebrow not really believing what he just heard.
“He's British, works in the film/television industry, has light brown hair, is very tall... And did I say he was British?” Becca restarted the game and started 'playing' on her own.

“You really think she's not over me?” Hugh watched his daughter with a somewhat confused and proud face.
“I'm just saying... For someone who a dit she found British accent annoying most of the time, she's not really trying to escape it.” the teen kept playing guitare hero and as she did, Hugh's smile grew wider and wider.


Oh, and I have to inform toi that Becca is here, like REALLY here, I wanted her to be a great part of this fic... somehow, I can relate to her, so expect a lot from her!
