In the morning Hugh woke up not exactly sure if the events of yesterday’s night he remembered happened for real ou it was just some kind of fantasy. He was in the lit alone and he didn’t hear anything significant presence of another person in the room neither. He decided to stand up and go to the bathroom – the smell he felt entering the door was incredible. He could definately say that someone used the bath just a few minutes il y a - the room was warm and mirrors were still fogged. When he stepped vers l'avant, vers l’avant the smell appeared even plus intensive and plus beautiuful. While he was melting into the pleasant air, he thought about Lisa. He remembered that smell from her body when they were laying suivant to each other the night before. She had to stood up in silent and took her stuff before he woke up. If the air in the bathroom was still warm, it was possible that he could still catch her in the hotel. He took a very quick douche and wore yesterday’s clothes, trying to do it as fast as he could. When he run down the stairs he noticed Lisa standing at the reception desk, paying for her room.
“Lisa!” he shouted, but when she looked at him she automatically turned her head back and started to walk toward the door, pulling behind herself a suitcase on wheels.
“Why are toi running away?” he run to her and bar her way.
“I’m not running away, I'm just in a hurry” she answered trying to step vers l'avant, vers l’avant but he didn’t let her.
“I don’t understand, when I woke up toi were gone without a word” he was confused par her behavior.
“I thought it’d be easier for both of us, to forget” she gave up trying to walk out and stood, looking into his eyes.
“Forget? Why?”
“Hugh, it happened and we can do nothing about it. But we can also déplacer on and doesn’t make it difficult.. Besides, I thought toi would like to forget it..” she a dit sadly.
“I don’t” he made a pause “ But I think it’s not the best place to talk about it now” he glimpsed at the receptionist watching their conversation. “I will take back my suitcase and we will go back to the city, stopping off for some breakfast, ok?” he smiled at her, wanted her to montrer that everything is okay.
She nodded and Hugh went to the reception desk, ask for his suitcase.
“Mr. Laurie, have toi used your room? toi didn’t took your keys...” he asked with a small wicked smile.
“I was in the bar all night. I’m sorry, but it’s none of your business.” He a dit little irritated par suspiciousness of receptionist. “Let’s go” Hugh took his stuff and nodded at Lisa and they walked out from the hotel, and got on Hugh’s car.
“Why are toi so quiet, it isn’t like you?” he asked after 20 minutes of drive, smiling, trying to start a conversation like everything was normal, but she didn’t answer still staring in the window pane. “Lisa, what’s happening?” he repeated.
“I’m sorry for yesterday...” she a dit still didn’t look at him.
“There’s nothing to be sorry about, look at me” he a dit and she slowly turned her head towards him.
“It’s okay, really” he tried to cheer her up, knowing how worried she is about them right now.
“Don’t toi feel... any guilt? I’m sorry for asking but... toi seem relaxed and..” she didn’t know how to ask him about his wife, but he answered quickly.
“Yes and no. I feel guilty just because Jo is the mother of my children, and I don’t becase I haven’t had feelings for her for some time.” Smiled dissapeared from his face as Lisa was looking at him plus carefully.
“You didn’t mention to me that toi have some problems.”
“I had my reasons. But toi still haven’t answered me why toi were runing away from me?”
“I didn’t know about toi and Jo, but you’re still married and I a dit something stupid…”
“You a dit toi loved me, I don’t find that stupid.” He focused his sight on the road, feeling her eyes on him.
“I shouldn’t had a dit that…”
“But is that true?” he asked but she didn’t answer as they rode up on a caff.
“Lisa!” he shouted, but when she looked at him she automatically turned her head back and started to walk toward the door, pulling behind herself a suitcase on wheels.
