A mois later Hugh was back in States. He was just about to start shooting the suivant season. It was the first jour on set and he knew everybody would already know that he failed for a divorce. So he prepared himself for questioning.
As soon as he got on the set, everybody started asking how he was.
“Are toi ok?”
“If toi need anything, I’m here for you”
“If toi think toi did the right thing, I’m with you”
“Do toi have a good lawyer”
“What’s gonna happen with the kids?”
Luckily, he had an answer to everything. But he didn’t let them know that.
After the first scene Hugh took a break and sat in his chair. Soon after Lisa joined him.
“Hey…” was the first thing she said
“Hey… How have toi been? I haven’t seen toi in months” Hugh a dit with a smile forming on his face.
“Oh… Good…” she returned the smile “and you?”
“Well, toi know divorce and everything…” he a dit with a low voice
“Yeah… I’m sorry about that…” she tried to comfort him, noticing a cameraman looking at them strangely.
“Do not feel sorry, Jo’s the one who made the wrong assumptions and the one that was jealous of something we didn’t have. So do not feel sorry.” Hugh returned with a little bit harsher tone. The cameraman was joined par a makeup artist.
“Yeah…” Lisa a dit almost whispering. There was a silence for a moment, nothing but the sounds of people from the set and cameraman and the makeup artist whispering not far away.
“How’s Max?” Hugh snapped after a while.
“Great. Just perfect. Everything’s going as it should be. Don’t toi think so?” she answered, a smile creeping on her face.
“Well, as far as I’m concerned, everything’s fine.” He returned the smile and noticed David coming at them.
“Hey, toi two are in the suivant scene, hurry up.” David, as producer, had to make sure everything was right.
“In a minute.” Hugh shouted at David who was already leaving.
“We better be going… ou we’ll have an angry Dave to take care of.” Lisa joked.
“Just take care of Max, everything else will come into its place.” Hugh smiled softly.
“Oh, I didn’t plan anything else.”
