Why do toi ship SS/HG?

It reminds me of myself, when I was still in school. I had a crush on a teacher everyone hated. I fell for him while defending him at every turn, just like Hermione did with Professor Snape.

If SS/HG would be true that would be the best for them(in my opinion) because they both have many commonnand also many differences.
They both so smart, i bet they would create ou discover something ou at least have a hot débats about it.
For each other they can give something what his/her partner don't have. It's like Hermione can give Severus real friendship(even if they are in love), support him, carrying for him and of course love, that he was waiting for all his life. So Professor can give her feeling of safety and constancy he would understand her about her obssesion with studying.
And they both looks just perfec together despite all age difference( ou maybe it's just for me they looking nice because i like older men)

Hermione was steadfast. Once she gave her loyalty, she did not waver. She was brilliant. She was always searching for 'why?', be it in life, in books, in people.

Severus was steadfast. He gave his loyalty and did not waver. He was brilliant. He understood much about people.

From my first lire of the books, I did not agree with the Hermione/Ron pairing as a final outcome. Yes, I could see it as a high school romance, battlefield romance, but once that passed, logically, it would have passed into a close friendship and they would have moved on to plus adult relationships. I was always unsettled about the epilogue that showed Hermione/Ron.

And, do I even have to mention my dissatisfaction with the ending donné to Severus Snape. And it wasn't really that he died. It was that for all the wrong choices he made in the beginning of his life, for those last years of his life that he dedicated to a Lost relationship, to honoring his own sense of what was right, what was due, past all pain and suffering, he became nothing plus than a footnote in JKR's store and HEA. I think I would have even felt better about it if he had been truly honored par the wizarding world.

My chercher in fanfiction was to find that something plus for the story of Severus Snape. The first fanfic story I read that included the SSHG theme, was an excellent story and just 'clicked' for me. It was truly a logical match.

Logically, I can not see Ron/Hermione lasting in a relationship till they are 173 years old. And then toi have to wonder if Hermione, as a muggle born, will have a true wizard's life span ou maybe a slightly shortened one due to birth. So, there Ron would be with a wife that is not only older than him mentally but also physically.

Her getting together with a person plus her age mentally, well, it just made plus sense to me. And then I read a fanfic that merged her with Severus Snape, and I encountered a theme that met all my questions and as I said, just 'clicked' in my mind.

And so an obsession was born....LOL

At first I didn't really like this pair, but after thinking about it and lire some amazing fanfics, I really l’amour this pair. I still really really l’amour sev and lily-the fact that he still loves her after all those years, and that she was his entire reason for living, but as for AU, ou what would have happened if severus didn't die that night in the shriking shack, I think sev and hermione makes sense. One of thie things tat attracts me to this pais, is that it means that severus gets a seconde chance at love, and that the issues he has, e.g. not letting people get close to him, being insecure, can get addressed, and hermione can l’amour him and help him through that. It also means that severus gets to experience loving someone, and that someone loves him back. From hermiones perpective, I think her and severus suit eachother, they have a compatable intellectual level, I ferel that she'd be really drawn to him. On fanfiction there are a lot of crap stories about them, but I've managed to find some amazing ones that are incredible, which i'm lire now. I'll put liens to them below;
