#10: UNCLE: (Red Dead Redemption):
Uncle, in his own way, can be viewed as seeking redemption from his life of petty crime par working on the Marston ranch. This parallels the decisions of John and Abigail to leave the van der Linde gang and lead a normal life.
And in the end he seeked it par sacrificing his life.
Same way John's death also would been the ultimate redemption if Jack hadn't killed Ross despite what John would of wanted..
#9: WILLIAM WALLACE: (Braveheart):
They say that persecution is one of the most important elements to make a character truly endearing. In Braveheart, practically every conceivable form of maltreatment is meted out against William Wallace, to the sound of one of Hollywood’s most depressing musical scores. At the film’s climax, Wallace is sentenced to be hung, drawn, quartered, and then finally beheaded. He opts for maximum agony after rejecting the Queen’s plea that he should use drugs to dull the pain of his execution. Even so, the defiant Scot stands up remarkably well to one of the medieval world’s most agonizing forms of torture. Despite losing a good few of his internal organs, he retains enough of a solid backbone to roar “FREEDOM!” before the executioner’s axe finally falls..
#8: JOSEPH FIENNES: (enemy at the Gates):
During the course of the movie, Fiennes tries to get Law court-martialed and accidentally gets a kid who was helping them spy on the Germans killed. He ends up feeling kind of shitty about both of these things. Near the end of the film he goes for a little redemption, which toi can guess he does not survive.
Specifically, when Fiennes and Law go out together looking for the German sniper, Fiennes admits that he's been a pretty terrible friend and he wants to help Law out. As a final act of heroism and friendship, he offers to montrer Law "where the major is" par standing in front of a window and letting himself get shot to reveal the other sniper's position. And par shot, we mean in the head, right between the eyes..
#7: MERLE: (Walking Dead):
To the end of his life, Merle was a flawed man with issues that he kept himself from facing, but was never truly evil. He loved his brother and it drove him to keep fighting in a world filled with despair. His final act of courage gave his brother and the rest of the prison group a fighting chance and, perhaps for the first and only time in his life, Merle truly found his place among others..
#6: SGT SANDMAN: (Call of Duty):
After securing both Alena and the Russian President, Sandman aided Captain Price and Yuri par covering their extraction. A helicopter retrieved the President, Price and the wounded Yuri, but Sandman and the remainder of his team fought to the end. After the mine collapsed, contact with Sandman was lost..
#5: YURI: (Call of Duty):
Gave his life to save Price's.
And Price avenged Yuri's death par violently killing Makarov..
#4: The Last Stand at Thermopylae
circa 480 BC:
This was the stuff legends are made of and since Frank Miller’s film 300 came out, a whole new generation of people have been acquainted with the heroic sacrifice of Leonidas and his handpicked guard of 300 warriors, all of whom had mature sons who could carry on the family name. What a lot of people don’t seem to remember is that as awesome as Leo and his wild bunch were, they didn’t stand completely alone. Other city-states, notably Arcadia and Thespia, sent troops as well, so the force opposing the massive Persian army was closer to 6,000 than just 300. Still, that this group stopped those thousands cold in their tracks at the Hot Gates for three days and in the end were only dislodged par treachery is nothing short of amazing. The action scored a perfect 5 out of 5 on the criteria. The best legend, probably apocryphal – but maybe not, was one Spartan hoplite’s reply to a Persian envoy’s boast that, “Our arrows will blot out the Sun.” The hoplite replied, “So much the better, for then we shall fight in the shade!”..
#3: JOHN MARSTON: (Red Dead Redemption)
John's death at the hands of Ross is a poetic end to his life. His journey has been about what he would do for his family: He certainly kills for them, he helps swindle people in order to get at Bill Williamson, he works for both sides of the Mexican Civil War, he tortures a man with an prolonged beating to get information about Javier Escuela, he confronts the man who raised him, and in the end he sacrifices himself to save his family so they could lead a better life - the reason he sought redemption in the first place. par his death, he knew that Ross wouldn't persecute Abigail ou Jack any longer, allowing them to start life fresh, allowing Jack the chance to grow up without the brutality and violence that shaped John's early life. Sadly, despite his father's sacrifice, Jack possibly still goes on to become an outlaw; he tracks down and kills Edgar Ross in revenge, without hesitation. The path to redemption, it seems, is a hard road to follow..
#2: PENWOOD: (hellsing):
He was often thought to be incapable of his job and a coward for his frequent fits of panic, such as when he accepts his apparent death after the Valentine Brothers' ghoul soldiers successfully infiltrate the Hellsing Organization compound.
But during Millennium's invasion of Londres (Unternehmen Seelöwe 2, Operation Sea Lion 2), his behavior somehow changed. Instead of evacuating himself, he held his ground at England's military headquarters along with all the remaining survivors of the double-agents' attack. As he worked to set up his last stand, he uses a radio to beg the remainder of London's law enforcement groups and surviving soldiers to stand their ground.
par the time Millennium forces had successfully infiltrated the base, Penwood had successfully wired the operations room with an enormous amount of plastic explosives. When the vampire soldiers approached him, Penwood demonstrated his loyalty to the British Crown par setting off the explosives and taking a number of Millennium agents and soldiers with him..
#1: Jésus CHRIST:
Yes.
Canada24 is talking about his religion.
I DO believe in Jesus, just don't talk about him.
Anyway.
The Old Testament tells us that God appeared on earth on several occasions. If Jésus wanted only to heal and teach, he could have simply appeared. But he did more: he became a human. Why? So he could die. To understand Jesus, we need to understand his death. His death is part of the gospel message and something all Christians should know about.
But Jésus allowed this work to come to a sudden end. He could have avoided arrest, but he chose to die instead of expanding his ministry. Although his teachings were important, he had come not just to teach, but also to die.
Death was an important part of Jesus’ ministry. This is the way we remember him, through the traverser, croix as a symbol of christianisme ou through the pain and wine of the Lord’s Supper. Our Savior is a Savior who died..

ST ANGER is often the "worst" album.
But why?
I gave it a listen.
And I tell toi what.
There is NOTHING bad about an album opening up with FRANTIC.
Haters say, it's the lack of solos that makes this album so bad.
But the solos often got SO long, I don't consider this really a BAD thing. plus for the actual SONGS.
And it's also the loud snare drums that's hated on.
But I fuckin l’amour the snare drums Lars Ulrich really shows off how talented he is. As the drums are extremely loud, but not in a bad way. The POINT of Metallica, is to be LOUD.
I'm not sure how much enjoyment I'll get out of them LIVE, xD
