Because he's like: "No don't rendez-vous amoureux, date her, because I might change my made and go with her." I mean he is a horrible person. I actually think he's the real villian in the show, atleast Noatak was trying to do a good thing. Asami is a great girl and he just treated her like dirt. In my opinion, Bolin deserves Korra and Asami deserves either Iroh ou Tahno. Mako can go rendez-vous amoureux, date a platypus bear.
Other then him: Misty from Pokemon. I feel like Misty added nothing to the show, she wasn't on a goal ou had a mission. I mean, she wanted to be a Water Pokemon Master, but that doesn't take her doing Gym Battles ou Contests. She does nothing, but order people around and get mad. I know some people my find her temper funny, but I found it annoying and thought it got really old after a while. It wasn't a good character quality. I mean, if she did it ever so often, it might have been funny. But doing it every episode is really boring.
