Why/How did Dragonball and Dragonball Z become so famous? I l’amour the montrer but like how did it?

I don't know, but I used to watch it all the time on Cartoon Network when I was a little kid. :)

Someone read the manga ou watched the anime, liked it, recommended it to someone else who liked it and recommended it to someone else who, etc etc
