WHy does animé always have to montrer the character's mouth when he/she is talking?

Especially in thriller/suspense anime. When the character talks about creepy stuff, the camera angles on their mouth while they're talking.

Their making it like an actual tv drama ou thriller movie. It's normal to do a close up of the character if something important comes up ou leads to a exciting scene. Although i'm not a fan of chant and montrer the face cause it doesn't come out well.
