When I have uploaded the last part of my current article serie "Soundcheck", I intend to do an average of the rankings the movies got in each category, to see, which one did best, and if the results change my former opinion about the soundtracks. I would like to compare it to the fanpop-opinion too.
Please, don't simply chose based on the movie which has your favourite or most hated song in it. Consider carefully each song in each movie AND the score.

that was hard! But yeah i don't find PatF's soundtrack that special compared to the others! The songs are so unmomerable (exept "I got friends from the other side") In my opinion and i don't really care about it's score either!

or Princess and the Frog, but i think overall the soundtrack to PatF is better than the soundtrack to Sleeping Beauty, despite Randy Newman's music being not my taste. the only memorable song (for me) in Sleeping Beauty is "Once Upon A Dream", which i absolutely love (it's one of my favourite Disney songs actually & is definitely better than any song in PatF) but i can't really say a whole soundtrack is good, simply based on one good song. it wouldn't make a difference to me if the other songs in the movie were there or not.

@Mongoose But there is more to Sleeping Beauty than just the songs, there are countless score pieces in it, more than in any other DP movie (perhaps with the exception of Snow White). For this category the question is not which movie has the best/worst songs, but the best soundtrack overall. Hence my request to consider the score, too.

@Swanpride, ah, true. i'm not sure then - but still i think overall it's my least favourite with the score&songs combined. honestly i don't really remember/pay attention to the score unless it's amazing like Beauty and the Beast or Pocahontas.

Very bad overall soundtrack

Hate the songs in this film. There are only a couple songs I do like. The score? It sucks too.

Yeah, the only song I like is Friends on the other side, and the score is unmemorable.

I know I'm alone but I personally love PatF, and I usually can't stand Randy Newman. I think Tangled is the worst, and I love Alan Menken. I think the music sounds recycled from his other Disney movies, (there's seriously a part of the score that is directly from BatB) and I think the lyrics are by far the worst of any Disney movie. This, however, does not mean I dislike the soundtrack, I enjoy it very much, I just think it's the weakest.

In every other soundtrack I can think of at least one song I love but not for PaTF.

All of Disney Movies have their special score moments - BatB has the ballroom scene, TLM has Under the Sea, and Tangled just as well has I See The Light, but talking of the score as whole, I think it's right behind other DP movies. And I say that even it being my 2nd favorite DP Movie.

eww.. I hate,hate,hate her voice and it's not half as good as the other princess soundtracks!

its shit imo. Disney really took a step backwards with these songs but they made it up again with tangled
