 Hello Pocahontas!
Hello Pocahontas!
Hi guys, since my favourite Pop versions of Reflection made it to the front page. Now, it's Pocahontas's turn for the pop version of her signature song, Colours of the Wind.

Brazilian Portuguese (Daniela Mercury)

I l’amour how the intro and the instrumental version is different from the original Vanessa William's version. Daniela's version has a calm and strong voice, she starts of very soft and it was not until the first chorus that she comes out of the shell with a strong personality.

Cantonese (Amanda Lee)

Another version sung in Cantonese that I really like, and I have to say Amanda is much plus gentle than Vanessa and I personally felt that this is how the song should sound like.

Castilian Spanish (Veronica Romero)

Like Brazilian Portuguese, she comes off as very soft during the first verse, in fact this version is very calm and gentle compare to the first 2 singers stated here. Wonderful arrangements too and it sounds like that they added Spanish guitare to make it sound very Spanish-oriented style.

Danish (Monique Spartalis)

Her voice eerily reminds me of Maria Lucia Rosenberg at some part, her rendition, especially her voice has a bit of a rock & roll quality and it is like Pocahontas has become a bad girl already! But overall, good job.

English (Vanessa Williams & Coco Lee)

The original version that I grew up with, I l’amour Vanessa's version because she has a very strong voice that it grew on me. I recently listened to the Coco Lee's version and I immediately l’amour it!

European French (Native)

I l’amour how it is sung in a duet and Laura sounds different here than in the movie. She has a rock and roll quality in her voice!

Finnish (Arja Koriseva)

Considering that she is a tango singer, I was really surprise that she nailed this song perfectly. She has a very soothing voice and I was very happy she really was the perfect choice to voice Pocahontas!

German (Jennifer Rush)

My opinion on her is the same as both her Finnish and Brazilian Portuguese counterparts, she comes off as very gentle and gradually very strong during the chorus and the later parts of the song.

Icelandic (Margret Eir)

She sounds like Pocahontas became an innocent Icelandic girl, however she is also very strong during the seconde chorus onward.

Norwegian (Anita Skorgan)

The seconde Scandinavian version that I fell in love, she sounds like Vanessa William has learn Norwegian and sang this version!

Polish (Edyta Gorniak)

I had seen the musique video and she dressed up like Pocahontas, except the hair. My first impression is very unpleasant as I am not use to listening to her voice, especially the first verse itself. But she smoothed herself later on!

Taiwanese Mandarin (Winnie Shin)

Another amazing version and her voice is youthful and at the same time, smooth. I personally felt this is how Pocahontas should sound like in the movie!

Thai (Rawiwan Chinda)

For the same reason as her Mandarin version, her voice in this song is very pleasant to listen to unlike her Polish counterpart.

Turkish (Sertab Erener)

I l’amour Turkish music, and I am very glad that she is exceptionally good for this song too. However, the song is really short.

Can toi Paint with all the Colours of the Wind?

I am quite surprise that all of them are quite good in their own rights!
My favourite artwork from the film.

It gets weird that I l’amour her when everyone hates Descendants for Audrey. Everyone hates Audrey because she's rude, selfish and also embarrassing Aurora fans. You're right, Audrey is plus rude than necessary, but there are some points where she is right. I had the same feelings as Audrey and I pity her immensely. I will explain in detail. A an il y a I made a friend in the earthquake. The name doesn't matter. Just know that she's a girl. What we both had in common was that we absolutely hated a girl named Eylul. Eylül was rude to both of us and treated us like we were younger than her. So we...

When the first La Reine des Neiges film was being advertised, I wasn't a fan of Disney at the time. I did enjoy a fair amount of their live-action films, but most of their animated films didn't appeal to me. I wasn't that excited for Frozen. In fact, I thought the film wouldn't even be good. However, I was pleasantly surprised. La Reine des Neiges quickly became one of my favori animated films. I was blown away par Elsa, Anna, the animation, the songs and how much fun the film was to watch. I was concerned that a sequel to La Reine des Neiges wouldn't work. However, history repeated itself, because I was pleasantly surprised by...

Thank toi so much! :D It feel good. I had to to a background check and I found out that this is the seconde time I've been fan of the mois here on Disney Princess Spot. The last time was 5 years(!) ago, in August 2015. So, maybe in five years time, I'll have the honor again, we shall see. (Laughs)
