I was on Youtube recently link]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mx1MmY1Bb50 (If toi go down to the 60 replies). Someone thought Belle didn't have a job (and the triplets did) because she had enough 'free time to read and became delusional about life in 'poor provincial town' (not my words). The exactly wording of what the user a dit was "I'm wondering that Belle are doing then even those triplets have their own jobs and responsibilities. Maybe idleness made her delusional? That life can be found outside of her town? " I pointed out that in historical speaking in those times women were only suppose to be able to read cookbooks ou have recipes committed to memories and not read fairytales ou something. that could cause 'women to start getting ideas'.

Then I asked him what kind of a job that the triplets did (and a dit "lovely laddies" aka Les Miserables) . The guy replied they were getting water to either help take care of the animaux ou to transport it to their dad (if there is a dad for them) so he could do it. That the movie showed that even the triplets hd 'responsibilities' but Belle didn't.

I then a dit in my suivant commentaire that the only job I saw them 'doing' was faon, fawn over the town's jock (aka Gaston) and they had what I consider to be jasel clothing (Jasmine+Ariel) kind of costumes (not the word I want but think of words that people associated with 'witch' (female dog), someone who sleeps around a lot, etc.)hence they were rich.

It's hard for me to explain the suivant bit. The guy a dit because of the way I interpreted the triplets that I view Belle as hardworking and that the triplets would probably be at the most, daughters of a rich merchant and since they're so spoiled that the family would have been hard-pressed to support the spoiled brats. So that means that the triplets probably did have a job.

At this point another guy mentioned that getting water wasn't a job and even if it was that the triplets were taking their own sweet time to do the job. Then asked why we were talking about the triplets.

The OP a dit that we assumed Belle was working because we saw her 'feed' the animals' and that she wasn't portrayed as a plus dedicated worker then the triplets were. So that the conclusion was that we can't say that Belle was helping her father without also agreeing that the triplets would have to have responsibilities of their own and vice versa.

Then he got into the topic of the fact that he believes that Belle rejected a 'good' match (aka 'rich') in the hopes of something better. I pointed out to him that the issue here is that Gaston wouldn't allow any livres in his house except cookbooks, and except her to be up from dusk to dawn cleaning, cooking and popping bébés out (hopefully 7 sons). I can just imagine a couple of rules that Gaston puts down: "No livres except cookbooks in my house", "You must only agree with my politics", "We can only have sons, no daughters" and "If we do have daughters they have to be illerate and only agree with me ou their brothers' ou husbands' politics."

I really think he loses it, here... Raging at a person is not explaining to a person your personal view.

Triton is one of those dads in Disney that absolutely makes me squirm. I don’t l’amour him, and I don’t hate him. But I do find him extremely unnerving, and on the same plane of Mother Gothel upsetting. He clearly alternates between being “nice” only sometimes, and then being really “explosively nasty” at other periods. King Triton’s rule is a patriarchy. I think his abusive tendencies, though, stem from insecurities he has within himself. Triton is afraid of the unknown. He's also afraid of not appearing “manly” enough. ( Bizarrely, this also makes me think of Prince Adam and...

I got inspired par laylastepford's link about which American Cities the Disney Princesses would live in and as I'm from Sweden I decided to write an article about which Swedish Towns (since most falls into that category, only a few falls into the "city" category) each Disney Princesses would live in, it's hard to identify each town's personality so I based it on mostly other aspects. I haven't been to all these towns so I'm just basing on what I know about each town

Snow White: Alingsås

This town lays only about 30 minutes train ride from Gothenburg and from what I've read and seen off...

Hello there! I'm ApplesauceDoctr here today with my third DP Song Analysis article. I've forgotten how much I enjoy écriture these, and since I re-watched Rebelle a few days ago, I thought I'd analyze one of its most notable songs -- "Into the Open Air".

Before we begin, thought I'd mention this -- the chorus occurs twice in the real song (the one toi can purchase from the soundtrack), but only occurs once in the actual movie. The lyrics for the two are quite different, but because we only hear one version in the movie, I'll only discuss that one we hear. :D

This love, it is a distant star...

Ah yes. Merchandise. Money, in other words. I adore the Disney princesses. They are all unique, and have good qualities. Some are even a little complex and the majority are at least decent role models. That's not how Disney markets them. Well, unless their name is Anna ou Elsa. For the first 11 princess, they are downgraded into sparkle obsessed girls that look nothing like they did in their original film. Great princesses are forgotten in merchandise as well. The whole system is downright awful. For the La Reine des Neiges sisters, Disney markets them as "I don't need a man". They tried that with Merida...

I realized that I've never written an article with any of my liste in this club; so I wanna start with something that I really love: Disney Princesses' Outfits! I'm a big fan of Disney dresses, here's why I l’amour cosplayers and to cosplay so much. It's wonderful to see an animated dress in person.
Well, about my article: I included just complete outfits, for example I kept out Ariel's rags because, in my opinion, this isn't even an outfit, ou Mulan's white dress she wears under her Matchmaker visit dress because they are part of the same outfit. So, I hope you'll enjoy my liste and tell me with...

I'm not doing it with the CGI Princesses because I don't particularly like any of their smiles. I mean... they look like real teeth Dx Anyway, here's my list...

9. Pocahontas
As some may know, I think Pocahontas is a really beautiful human being, in and out. But what I don't find beautiful about her is her ways of expression. When she speaks, it sounds like she's faking every type of emotion she's trying to express and the same goes to when she smiles.

8. Mulan
Mulan's smile feels held back so that's why she is in this placement. But I do think it's warm and natural, maybe not as ''impressive''...

13. Snow White
Snow would definitely be higher on my liste if her curls were plus defined. I like the idea of her hair styled in a bob with a red bow. Unfortunately, that idea didn't come out too nicely to me.

12. Cinderella
Strawberry blonde is my favori hair color and Cinderella's burnt orange hair color is no doubt uniquely gorgeous. Speaking of unique, so are her bangs but I can't say I really like them as they look like plastic to me.

11. Tiana
The little strands of curls that hang down are pretty cute. Although it doesn't look like toi can do much with Tiana's hair but tie it...

Just a quick article to compare Gaston to the Beast and decide who is really the villain...

Similarities:
Gaston: Vain, selfish and doesn't really care about anyone else.
VS
Beast: Spoiled, selfish, cursed for not having any l’amour in his heart.
xxxx
Gaston: Only wants Belle because she's beautiful.
VS
Beast: Only wants Belle because she's the first girl who's come along since the curse.
xxxx
Gaston: Locks up Belle and her father.
VS
Beast: Locks up Maurice and keeps Belle prisoner.
xxxx
Differences:
Gaston: Relatively level-headed. Acts plus out of jealousy than anger.
VS
Beast: Quick temper. Yells a lot for...

This is the tenth article in my "Why I Love.." series and it's for Rapunzel! Rapunzel is a great princess and I hope I can do her the justice she deserves. I hope toi enjoy lire this!!

Rapunzel isn't one of my favoris really, in fact she's in my bottom three, but that doesn't mean I still don't really l’amour her a lot. If you've been here for a while, you'll know that Rapunzel was actually my favori princess for a few months, and before that she was always either seconde ou third on my list, but sadly all she's done is drop overtime. Despite her dropping, one of my favori attributes of...
