Seraphs laughed as Fang and an Eraser stood behind him. The two boys joined in laughter as the burning Gotham City Bank collapsed to the ground.
“That’s how toi set feu to Gotham.” Seraphs cackle traveled through the empty Gotham Streets. “Fang, how long before the cops arrive?”
“3:00 minutes minimum.” Fang snapped his head to the right. “They’re heading in from district 54. 4 cop cars, and a swat team.” The blare of a siren promised the boys arrest, panicking they sprinted down the street, jumping over trashcans, and dodging light poles. The trio ran faster as bullets whizzed past them, leaving the lingering smell of hot metal in the air. Seraphs turned right and ran up a feu escape the two boys following along.
“SORRY OLD MEN! TRY AGAIN!” All three boys laughed at Seraphs harassed the police from the rooftops. “Fang, rob her blind. Now!” Seraphs pointed to the lady walking down the street. Fang leapt off the building and onto the rue following the lady, he reached down into her bourse, sac à main snatching her wallet, and phone. Fang turned and ran back to the building.
“Good Boy.” Seraphs patted Fang’s head, “you snatched all her credit cards and $400. Not bad for your first time. Of course, you’re ten, and your older sister just died.” Fang winced as the reminder of his sister’s death filled his mind. “We should do this another time kid.” Seraphs ruffled Fang’s hair and leapt off the building out of sight.
