“Shade, come with me.”
a dit warrior followed the Dark Knight without delay. She had been visiting the mountain with her remaining three teammates when Batman had called. It had been several weeks and Becca had noticed several things about this whole ordeal. One was that Mercy and Kaldur had become a couple. seconde was that Alessia and Connor were closer than ever. Third was Megan. She had obviously been talking her cœur, coeur out and was looking much like her old self. Fourth was that her Friends all seemed better. Fifth was just how wasted she felt. Nothing was helping her. She just wanted to cry even though she had no plus tears. But the final thing she noticed was plus of a warning sense. Batman seemed to be putting a mur up between her and Robin. Becca knew she didn't like it. She need Robin plus than ever. But Batman thought otherwise.
“Shade, toi seem to be having the most trouble. Therefore, toi will have therapy every jour with Black Canary.”
“Yes sir,” Becca muttered.
“Becca, take a seat.”
Becca did as Black Canary instructed, sitting with her legs drawn up to her chest.
“Becca, how hard is this for you?”
Becca shrugged her shoulders.
“They were your Friends weren't they?”
Becca's eyes watered as she nodded.
“Then toi have to feel something. What do toi feel?”
Becca tipped her head back, blinking away her tears. Her lower lip quivered and she just shook her head. She buried her head in her knees. Black Canary placed a hand on her arm.
“Becca, I know you've been having trouble. But don't hold it in. You'll only hurt yourself. I'm here to help. To heal. Don't hand me a jaded heart. Cause I won't take it.”
Becca felt the tears escape her and rather than give in, she pulled deeper within herself where she knew not a soul could find her.

“This girl needs help.”
“I know. How is she doing?”
“Not well. She is hiding. She wants to come out. But the thought that they only want to change her stops her every time. Should e interfere?”
“Yes. It could be just the thing she needs.”
“When do we step in?”
“When we see her break. toi can't fix what isn't broken. So why try with her?”

Warning. There is no Epilogue. This REALLY is the end.

I've stayed awake at night for the past three weeks. Ever since she moved on. The darkness covers me and seems to whisper words. The past three weeks have been torture for me. I know she's here. Always know. She and I stay in the same place. She's just a few doors down. It would be easy for me to go to her. But two things stop me. She doesn't want me. I've never done things the easy way. People have always called me a monster. I thought she had seen different. But she didn't. She was just taken in par my words, the truth. So it's my fault really. I shouldn't have let my guard down. I shouldn't...

"Where's my tie?" Robin ran around the house throwing clothes in the air. Bruce entered the room an ironed tie in his hand.
"Alfred was ironing it as toi asked" Robin gave a sigh of relief and snatched the tie off his mentor. He fixed his collier and pulled his veste on.
"Would toi mind sparing me 20 bucks?" the teenager asked putting his hand out.
"Why?" Bruce began to take out his wallet.
"Just canteen food" Bruce put his wallet back in his pocket.
"Oh! What gives?!" Robin cried. He looked at the clock. "Come on just 20 bucks. Please ou I'll be late!" he put out his hand again.
"Where are toi really...
