“I didn't either. Then-” Robin's hand twitched and he held Raven's tighter- “I met you.”
Wally could only stare like an idiot. His mouth opened and closed several times.
“That very first night we met, I knew I was never going to be the same.”
“I-I-I never knew.”
“Why else do toi think I was always watching your back? Why else would I spend five years telling toi secrets very few have access to? Why else do toi think I would get upset and hurt toi every time toi flirted with Megan?”
“Because we're friends?”
“Because I l’amour you.”
“Still? Even after...?”
“Yes. Even now. Even after your Kiss with Artemis.”
“What...What about Zatanna?”
“She was just a distraction. I thought she might help me. It didn't last very long.”
“Robin's Lost his moxy,” Raven interjected. “Maybe you, Kid Flash, can give it back?”
“Am-am I...forgiven?”Wally asked.
“Only if toi forgive me.”
Wally broke into a smile.
“Totally.”
Robin's face lit with a genuine smile, a very rare sight on the masked boy. His Friends released him and Raven pointed at Wally.
“Have him at accueil par ten. ou Bats will be pissed. Kay?”
“Got it. Thanks.”
Raven smiled and Wonder Girl kissed Wally's cheek.
“No Wally West. Thank you. toi saved our little bird. Now he knows the right way to love; unconditionally.”
Raven winked and gave Robin's cheek a quick Kiss before she and Wonder Girl flew away. Robin waved until they were out of sight. He turned to Wally, looking down.
“Are toi mad at me?” he asked.
“No. But did toi really have to bring them? Raven scared the shit out of me!”
Robin laughed his deviously cute laugh and Wally smiled. He brought the little bird closer, allowing their chests to touch. Robin gazed up at his best friend and not-so-secret-love. Wally placed a hand on the small of Robin's back, the other on his cheek. Robin reached up carefully and pulled off his mask. Wally stared into the breathtaking blue eyes; this was the first time he'd ever seen Robin's eyes. And they were just...
“Beautiful,” Wally breathed.
“Hm?”
“Your eyes; they're...I don't have a word to describe them. I'm seriously whelmed.”
Robin's face flushed; Wally had never used any of his “made-up” words before.
“Eh. You're pretty whelming yourself,” Robin admitted.
The two stared at each other, enjoying the view. But looking wasn't enough. Simultaneously, Wally and Robin leaned in, their lips locking together. An electric connection buzzed between the two and they pulled away for a minute. But they soon colombe into their seconde kiss. Wally's hand slid from Robin's cheek to the back of his neck, lengthening the kiss. Robin wound his fingers into wild red hair, yanking lightly. Wally moaned and left Robin's delicious lips to Kiss the soft skin on the bird's exposed neck. It was Robin's turn to moan as Wally's tongue connected with the flesh. With Wally's head turned to papillon Kiss his neck, Robin nawed on Wally's ear, causing the speedster to groan.
“Mmmm...Dick.”
“...Wally...”
Wally brought his lips back to Robin's. He was floating and he thought the world was spinning par how dizzy he was. Oh the taste of those freakin lips; he never ever wanted to forget the taste of Robin. It was sweet and salty, but at the same time their was something daring, something definitely Robin. And Wally was proud to hold the tender treasure in his arms. Slowly and unwillingly, they pulled away.
“Dick...I'm so sorry. toi were right...about everything. It's all my fault. I never pay attention to how toi feel. I'm always talking with other people and I did avoid you. I'm so sorry. I-I deserved every word toi a dit and more. I don't want to loose toi again””
“You never will. And, you're probably right about everything toi a dit about me. Zatanna was over a lot. I haven't really sought toi out. And my dad does tend to leave me alone, which causes me to be needy.”
“I don't care anymore. toi can be the most needy person in the world; it won't change any of my feelings and passion for you. I l’amour toi Dick!”

Wally did as instructed. He held his little bird close, their lips meeting again. If a Kiss was rated par passion, theirs would have left the others far behind. Because a Kiss is a piece of your heart. And their two hearts were joined as one through that kiss. Their l’amour bonded them together and they would have donné anything to keep it that way. For the true test of l’amour is letting go. And if toi let a bid go, toi l’amour it. If it comes back to you, it was meant to be yours forever. Wally learned that truth today. And doves may not have flown around, anges may not have sung, but two hearts were made new and healed with love.
