just a short little sad story about friends
I walked along the streets of Happy Harbor, jamming to my musique which was turned all the way up. I was to busy jamming to see the group of people in front of me. I ran straight into a boy with black hair and sun glasses on. We both fell and his glasses fell off. I looked over and saw a pair of slightly confused sapphire blue eyes looking back. Eyes that I would recognize anywhere. He quickly put his glasses on.
“Tally?” he asked
“D-Rob?” I asked. I could tell par the hasty way he put his glasses on that he was undercover. I hugged him.
“I haven’t seen toi in so long, dude” I exclaimed
“Right back at you, dude” he laughed, helping me up.
“So, what have toi been up to?” I asked
“Oh, nothing really” he shrugged nonchalantly.
“I don’t think that’s possible for you” I grinned
“Uh, Rob, who’s your friend?” the ginger behind him asked
“Oh! Guy’s, this is Tally, par BFF” I rolled my eyes at the titre he had made when we were kids.
“I thought we were best friends” he muttered bitterly
“We are. Tally’s my Best Female Friend. We’re practically family” he grinned
“So, these are your little Friends toi told me about?” I asked
“Uh, yeah” he nodded sheepishly
“You told her about us?!” the ginger who was now sounding plus and plus like the one described to be Walter Rudolph West exclaimed.
“Yeah, but don’t worry. Bat’s gave him permission first” I winked
“Wait, toi know about that too?!” Wally exclaimed
“Yes” I a dit calmly
“So, if toi know so much about us, who am I?” he asked
“Walter Rudolph West, age 15, currently attending Central City High. Presently resides at Barry Allen and Iris West-Allen’s accueil for reason’s I’m not just going to blurt out like the weather” I said
“You told her all that?” Wally demanded
“Rudolph?” Artemis laughed “Oh, I’m going to get a lot of mileage out of this one”
“Ugh” he groaned
“Anyways, he only told me your name. I figured the rest out for myself” I shrugged
“You spied on me?!” he demanded
“Don’t flatter yourself. I hacked the Bat-cave’s main computer” I rolled my eyes
“And Batman knows!?” he demanded exasperatedly
“Yeah. He didn’t find out until I accidentally slipped up and a dit something secret on the computer when we were talking” I smirked
“Anyways, what have toi been up to lately? Last I recall, toi had orange hair, not pink-purple” Robin said
“My mom’s a hair dresser. What do toi expect?” I shrugged
“I don’t know” he shrugged. I heard something strange. It was like, screaming.
“Do toi guys hear that?” I asked. As they all looked around, I ran off. With a mischievous cackle, I did a handspring onto an awning, jumped onto a roof and started running from their. I saw Scarecrow throwing bombs everywhere. I jumped down and landed on him, scaring him out of his hat.
“Who are you?” he asked
“Just a regular girl” I shrugged, pulling shades on to cover my bright blue eyes. He laughed and threw me off his back. His mechanical hand changed into a buzz saw.
“Regular, eh? Then, you’ll probably scream when I do this” he grinned and slashed at me, creating a long line of crimson blood going across my chest. I heard a cracking sound and a large gargoyle fell, crushing me. I felt the heat of my own blood, then smelled something odd, like sulfur. I closed my eyes and knew that soon, I was going to die. I opened my eyes in a white room. The only color was the blood bag on the hanger beside my lit and Batman. I sat up. He looked down at me. I looked at all the bandages and gauze on me.
“I’m going to die, aren’t I?” I a dit quietly
“Yes. I am so sorry, Tally” he nodded
“Who’s going to tell Robin?” I asked. There was a long silence.
“I will” I said
“I’ll go get him” Batman said, rushing from the room. Robin entered a minute later.
“Tally! I’m so happy you’re okay!” he exclaimed. I looked away.
“Tally? What’s wrong?” he asked. Then, everything fell together. The way Batman had refrained from saying her name, the way she wouldn’t answer me.
“Tally, you’re going to be fine” Robin promised
“Can toi look me in the eye and tell me it’ll be alright?” I asked, looking up at him. Robin had taken his glasses off.
“Y-you’re not going to make it, are you?” he whispered
“No, Dick. I’m not” I a dit sadly
“Will toi stay with me?” he asked “In my heart?”
“Of course. We’re BFF’s, remember?” I laughed weakly
“Good bye, Tally” he placed a feathery soft Kiss on my cheek, then left. I closed my eyes and laid down, never to get back up again.
