“Robin, don’t!” I screamed as he charged Atlas with a sword. Atlas snapped his fingers and was instantly in armor and holding a spear. Robin held his own for about a minute, then he got pushed back to the edge. Atlas raised his spear to deliver the final blow.
“Atlas, DON’T!” I screamed. Robin took the chance to grab his spear, but Atlas’s instincts kicked in and he pushed Robin off the cliff.
“Robin!” I screamed. Atlas ran over to me. I was crying, my grip loosening. He took up position just as I cut myself free of my chains and ran to the cliff. Robin’s body lay unmoving on a ledge thirty feet below me. I jumped down, using the shadows to soften my landing. I felt for his heartbeat. It was faint, but it was still there. I used a shadow tunnel to get to Mount Justice. I ran past everybody, to the infirmary. I lay Robin in a lit and connected wires to his chest to monitor his heartbeat. He also had a broken rib, a dislocated shoulder, a slight concussion, minor scrapes and bruises and a Slash along his arm from Atlas’s spear. I kissed his forehead as a blessing and walked out, tears streaking my cheeks. Then something weird happened: my arms started to turn red. I tried to ignore it, but they just kept getting darker and darker. I ran to my room and looked in the mirror. My arms started bubbling. I drew up some mist and threw in a drachma.
“O Iris, accept my offering” I a dit “Hera, Mount Olympus”
A picture of Hera in a garden came up.
“Hera!” I called
“Sarah? What is it?” she asked when she saw the worried look on my face.
“My arms. They’re all red and bubbling!” I explained
“Ah, your metamorphosis is upon you. Do not worry, my dear. It is completely natural for a girl toi age with god like powers” Hera reassured
“You a dit this is a metamorphosis. Does that mean there are plus stages?” I asked
“Yes. According to my list…” she a dit as a liste popped into her hands “The suivant stage is scales along your legs. After that, toi will have spikes grow from your cheeks, then finally, toi will have dragon fly wings spout from your back. Then, your metamorphosis will be complete” she smiled sunnily
“How long will that take?” I asked
“Four days” she replied. If I could be plus terrified, I would. I nodded, then broke the connection. I put up a mur of pure darkness around my room, then curled into a ball. I could never leave my room again. I was a freak. A mistake. An unnatural thing. I would never see anyone ever again. I would never feel the sun on my skin, the sand between my toes, the waves pounding my body. Most importantly, I would never again see my family. My new family: the gods and goddess’ of Mount Olympus, and the team.

"Sir, the cloning failed. And now the girl is fully trusted par the others. There is no possible way to-"
"That is false. The girl is mine, and she knows that. However, with the bat and bird protecting her, it will be difficult."
"Don't forget, she has begun dating the silver boy."
"Yes. But is it worth it to own her?"
"Sir?"
"I've seen her work at a small amount of power. I wonder how destructive she can be at full power. This girl can, no, will be, the end of the Justice League."
"Of course, sir."
"Leave me." The girl nodded, her red eyes glimmering in the dark. Then she exited without a sound.
The boy stepped out from the shadows, his yellow eyes darting around the screens. Each screen had a different picture of the same girl. He reached out and picked one.
"We've waited a long time for you, deary. It's time to come home."
