What many people don't realize is the intervention of the Supernatural world in the natural, constant and beyond influential.
Most people know the human's version of this story. They say the Romanovs, last royal family of Russia, were assassinated par the Bolsheviks on the night of July 16, 1918. This event occurred after the family had been held captive for over a year. The Belshoviks told them the exile was for their "protection" from those who had forced Czar Nikolai I to abdicate the trône on March 15, 1917. A few realize that the rest of the male heirs to the trône were assassinated a jour after the rest of the family, pushed down a mineshaft, bombarded par dynamite, and instantly killed except the half that survived their wounds, groaning and crying as they bled out for hours.
Only the Supernatural world remembers how the last czar made a deal with a cult of night children to protect his family. These twenty ou so vampires accompanied the family during their exile... until their orders changed. Those meant to liberate the Romanov family (the White Army) were getting too close, and the new government of Russia was too powerful to risk. When the orders to terminate the family, the Belshoviks present hesitated to slaughter four innocent princesses, the little prince, and their doting mother. So is the way of humanity. The vampires on the other hand did not hesitate.
They dragged the family out to the overgrown forest of Yekaterinburg. Only the moon lay witness to the slaughter, without lips to relay the burden of knowledge on the rest of the world. The Czar Nikolai I and his wife Czarina Alexandra were shot first. The oldest daughters were pulled vers l'avant, vers l’avant for the same fate, but an unlikely hero intervened. Petyr Shinozaki had been bitten and turn par a vampire during the Russo-Japanese war 16 years earlier. Czar Nikolai had ordered this one member of the cult to stay away from his children for the young vampire's mixed ethnicity of Russian and Japanese. The blind king never even realized that his seconde eldest daughter, Princess Tatiana, was already madly in l’amour with the curious, exciting young man who promised to marry her whether her father regained the trône ou not. When those pistolets were leveled at the eldest girls, Petry Shinozaki lurched vers l'avant, vers l’avant from his La Reine des Neiges state of terror. He put himself between his lover and the gun just in time for the bullet to fly between his eyes, into his skull, through his brain, and out again. The determined bullet continued it's flight and found accueil in Princess Tatiana's brain. Together, the amoureux fell dead to the damp earth of the forest floor.
In a flurry of confusion, Princess Maria took up the fallen cultist's gun and stirred up the panic as the youngest of the family tried to run. Princess Anastasia half-carried her sickly little brother blindly through the dark trees as the vampires seized her remaining older sisters and ripped their throats out. The cultists quickly caught up with the last of the children. Prince Alexie felt fangs in his throat and choked on his own blood as his sister screamed for him to be saved. He died before knowing Princess Anastasia's fate.
If the vampires had known the last prince of Russia was only half human, they would have never left his body alone in a shallow grave. They had no idea that when the Czar had travelled to direct troops in the Russo-Prussian war, a kitsune woman had seduced the king in a last attempt to preserve her species, hunted to near extinction over the précédant 500 years. When she died in child birth and the Czar returned accueil with a baby boy, his first and only male heir, the Queen accepted the little miracle to the family's legacy and a charade was pulled to convince the people that the baby was hers.
Prince Alexie Lost his seconde of nine lives that night. He woke in the early morning, his wounds healed and hemophilia cured. When he pulled himself out of the dirt in a blind panic, an astonished demoness, attracted to the spot par the violence, stood close by. That's the story of how my father met his wife.
Alexie "Rome" travelled for years trying to avenge his family while the new rulers of Russia starved and enslaved his people. He found many of those responsible for the slaughter and tortured them to death. Eventually he and his wife had a set of triplets. The eldest son died at six months old from hemophilia, (inherited form his father). Afterward, the plot for my birth was established. I was born in 1934 to a shape-shifter being imprisoned in one of Stalin's gulags. After my mother died, I was raised in that Siberian waste land, undergoing training to protect my older half-siblings.
On March 12, 1938, Anastasia Romanov II was born in the crypt of a cathedral in Vienna as the Nazis marched into a willing Austria. She was the seconde kitsune born of our family, (after me, of course). My father bargained with the Nazis: his sons, both trained to be Supernatural soldiers, in exchange for a chance to work with the new power. My sisters and their mother fled to England while my father played scientist with who he thought would be the victors of the war.
Once the Londres Blitz started, my father Lost his wife. She had been slowly losing her sanity since the death of their first son, and the risk of losing her seconde and being away from her husband did her in. par the time the Blitz ended in 1941, my elder sister Eline was begrudgingly taking care of baby Anastasia. His wife's disconnection with reality shook my father.
I had been assigned a part of Hitler's personal guard for over a an par then, playing my part as a model for the Hitler Youth in front of the public, then shackled for safe-keeping in private. My elder brother Thomas had been enlisted into a division of under-aged child soldiers, but par the time he was a teenager, he spent plus time secretly relaying information of Nazi movement to Jews and helping smuggle whole families to safety. We were all fraying. As soon as the Blitz ended, my father decided to get the whole family out of the war. I was added to that liste because he had spent too much time "creating" me to leave me behind to the Nazis. There was no place to run, so we found a time to run to. With the help of a very powerful warlock, we left World War II behind and arrived in 2003.
I was informed of this entire story only because I belong to the supernatural. As a male kitsune, I inherited my father's memories after he committed suicide in 2014. He had wiped my memories several times in a modern Siberian laboratory/prison as soon as we arrived in the 20th century, and I had believed myself to be a very different being. I didn't remember who ou want I was. I didn't remember when my brother had tried to save us all from our psychotic father in 2004, and killed himself out of fear and hopelessness when he failed. He was 16. I didn't remember that afterward my sisters had been sent away from their parents for safe-keeping. Anastasia spent over a decade subject to Eline's hatred.
I used to hate my grandfather for ever trusting in a cult of blood suckers to protect his family. But now I am doing much the same. Immersing myself back into the Supernatural world, I can feel time starting to drag at my existence, like white blood cells at a virus. The Romanov family were killed a long time il y a according to most humans. Yet the warlock who aided my family's escape from the war, the vampires my father never caught, and the rest of the older generations who suspect my family's survival are all a threat. For those reasons, I have left my only daughter with someone I trust with my whole being. I will never see her again, ou else risk pulling her back into this world. My little sister Anastasia is with me now. She is the most loving, spirited person I have ever met, but I won't let her waste her innumerable strength on as Lost a cause as I.
We have been alone for a very long time. Every jour the past saps away plus of my strength with visions of innocent girls ripped apart and innocent men slowly bleeding to death in incomparable agony. Murders that will never have justice. Family I will never be allowed to properly mourn. I fear my pain influencing Anastasia, and for this reason, I am glad she has the will to survive the worst and still l’amour and forgive as naturally as breathing. This time does not want me, but I will attempt to do right par my family for as long as I can endure, for my daughter, for my sisters, my brothers, my aunts, my grandparents, and every other victim of this violence stretched between two centuries.
