"Ugh, that girl is still confusing. Even after five years." Nye got up, holding his untouched coffee, and walked towards the door. He went back to Jennifer's place and handed her his coffee. "Here, I didn't sip any of it."
"I wouldn't have minded if toi did," she said, taking it and drinking a little. "So, who did toi go to meet? David? James?"
"Charlotte." Her eyes grew wide, because she knew who he was talking about.
"Why would toi go to her?" She whispered.
"Because she's the only who'd be able to figure it out."
"That's not true. toi could have gone to-"
"No," he interrupted. "I couldn't." She looked down, knowing that he was right.
"So," she started to choke up, "What will toi do now?" Nye looked away from her.
"I think I'll have to leave for a little bit. To find some answers." The boy turned to face her again, seeing her eyes tear up. He grabbed her and gave her a hug, holding her close. Jen buried her face in his shirt, staining it with tears. She lifted her head to look into Nye's big green eyes.
"Are toi sure toi have to go? Can't toi just stay here with me?"
"I have to go Jennifer. I need to know what's going to happen, and how I can stop it." Nye kissed the haut, retour au début of her head and wiped away the tears with his thumb. He gave her a small smile, the one she loved to see when he did it. Jen wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him close, and kissed him passionately. Nye kissed her back, picking her up so he didn't have to be pulled down. Tears still ran down the girls face as she kissed him. She slowly pulled away, prolonging the Kiss as long as possible. Nye looked into her dark eyes, making her a little weaker.
"Please," she whispered, "Don't go..."
"I wish I didn't have to honey; but this is important." Nye set her back down, went into his room, and started to pack a backpack. Jennifer stood there, watching him, as she silently cried.
He packed clothes, a flashlight, his phone and wallet, a few utilities, and a picture of him and Jen. As he looked at it, a small tear ran down his face. Quickly, he wiped it away. Nye zipped up the backpack and came back out to Jen, who was wiping away the tears on her face. He bent down a little and kissed her lips quickly. As he walked towards the door, Jen tried to convince him to stay, tears pouring down her face as she did; but none of it worked. Nye went to the door, opened it and looked back at her. "Love you." he said, and he shut the door behind him and left.
"Love toi too," she whispered to herself, before she ran into her room, laid on the bed, and cried even harder.
