He store at the screen in front of him deep in thought as he looked at the young couple walk through the eighty first level, they were getting close, too close for his comfort. “ I thought toi a dit toi separated them…” he muttered sitting in his chair, the familiar man behind him looked down “ she escaped im sorry I failed toi master “ he muttered, “ sorry? Im done with that word! toi have failed me too many times! “ he shouted making the man behind him flinch slightly. He had a low growl and rasp in his tone “ I guess its time I do this myself since toi are so incapable….” He muttered standing up. " What do toi mean father...? " the man muttered, he hesitantly let out a voice " its time Swords and Shields Online was introduced to a new player....." he muttered with a rasp. " W-what about me? " he replied, " take off your ring.." he muttered back. The man behind him hesitantly pulled off his ring into the palm off his hand, his now red hair that used to be hidden par a brown fell down over his green eyes as he stared intently at his master " i think its time we pay the black swordsman a little visit......" the man growled out staring at the couple walking again on one of the monitors on his screens.


He store up at an endless horizon of blurry red and orange clouds that kept the sunset from shining through, he let out a shaken breath he was dead wasn’t he?, all he did all he fought for….was now as sûr, sans danger as it could be, he tried to make it to the end……, he tried to fight for her but he wasn’t quick enough. He has the thought deep in the back of his head, what if he had just turned away from the world and gone his own way? Why hadn’t he just stayed out of this whole mess, he was dead, he had nothing now, he Lost everything and gained nothing. He sat up and looked down seeing he had nothing but a clear floor as he stared down at the clouds below that covered the rest of what this world showed. Would it always be like this…? Would he never get to leave this heel hole? , go back to reality, get married, have this story to tell his grandkids……, his head spinned and stomach turned as this processed through his brain. This whole situation of how this happened played through his brain over and over, he could have done so many things to stop it, to déplacer out of the way….., to leave Aryess out of this hell…..


He stared at the man intently, he dared montrer his face, admit he was the one who caused all this shit. Bentley let out a low growl as the man smirked scrolling through his option liste of all the names of the players present and pressed their names, suddenly people around him began to fall to the ground groaning and struggling, Aryess who held onto his wrist and arm tightly let out a gasp as her grip weakened and she sank to the ground “ Bentley…” she gasped out, Bentleys eyes widened as he caught her on his knees glaring at the man,” Paralysis……” he a dit to himself quietly. “ So toi stoop this low…. To make people go through hell when they did nothing wrong!, and are so weak toi have to paralyse others in order to get your way! “ Bentley let out a shout that echoed through the room they were in, the man smirked “ yellings not going to get toi anywhere…..and yet before toi get to hear the deal I have for you…..” he rasped out, Bentleys eyes widened as the man pulled down his capuche, hotte revealing his face being burnt and flesh and stained blood all over every visible part of his face. His green eyes bulged out with intent and satisfaction. “ Fight me Bentley….. if toi win toi beat the game and everyone goes free, but if toi lose….your Friends lose all their hope of ever escaping…..” he rasped out, Aryess glanced up at Bentley “ no Bentley… toi cant do this alone….” She pleaded. Bentley blinked back the fear and hatred in his eyes, all he ever wanted was to free everyone and live again, all this bullshit this man had caused everyone including himself to have to go through, sickened him and he wanted it to finally end. “ I-I have to…..” he breathed out, “ Bentley……” Aryess breathed out as tears welled up in her eyes “ toi cant! toi cant risk your life for me!! That’s so unfair!! All ive ever done is put toi in danger!!! Don’t do this please!!! “ she cried out breathing heavily. She let out a small wimper and managed to nod thought she just wanted to shake her head no. Bentley put on a small smile of reassurance, " I promised ill free toi from here.....and thats what im going to do....for you, for everyone here....." Bentley breathed out taking her hand but she couldnt squeeze his hand back, " promise you'll win...." she breathed out, " i'll do everything i can......" Bentley muttered, Aryess swallowed hard and nodded as Bentley placed her down on the ground gently and got up pulling out his sword walking over to the man, " i dont plan on losing......but if i do.....promise youll protect Aryess....and wont let her kill herself......" Bentley breathed out, Aryess let out a cry " Bentley!!! toi cant do that!!! , a smirk spread across the mans face " her sorrow is my pleasure....." he rasped out pulling out his sword, and a white box appeared infront of Bentley to start the duel, Bentley turned back looking at Aryess whose face drenched with tears still, " I l’amour you...." he breathed out. Aryess broke out into tears crying her cœur, coeur out " I l’amour toi so much!! " she cried out. Bentley blinked back tears and turned back due to not being able to face her tears that he didnt want to cry himself. He pressed the blue button as the clock began to count down from ten. Nine,eight,seven. the clock counted Bentley got into a ready stance glaring intently, " this isnt a duel.....this is a battle to the death.....im going to kill him.........i will...." Bentley a dit to himself in his head, the clock reached one and Bentley grew angry " im going to kill him!!! " he shouted out in his head as the buzzer sounded and he ran at the man with his sword.

He sat up from staring up at the sky, where had he gone so wrong?, his grey eyes softened with tears sparkling in them, he Lost everything.......trying to be the hero...., why had he been so stupid? why hadnt he left everything the way it was. Why did he even try to be the hero after he had failed so many times before. " Bentley........" a voice muttered out behind him, he let out a shaken gasp as his eyes widened and turned around slowly to see Aryess standing there. " A-Aryess......." he breathed out with shock and she smiled at him with teary eyes " im sorry....i-i died too......", " h-how? he promised- " she put a finger over his lips to make him stop talking, " promises are meant to be broken...nothing can keep us apart forever......" she muttered, he stared down at her and gasped out a cry hugging her and falling to his knees " im so sorry!! i promised id bring toi back to the real world.....but i couldnt even do that!! " he muffled into her neck shaking and crying. She stroked the back of his head with teary eyes but smiled softly " im not in the real world unless im with you...." she muttered. He pulled back with teary eyes " what about Amara......." he muttered out, " where is she.....". Aryess bit her lip as tears began to stream down her face " she disappeared when i died......" , Bentley blinked back tears as Aryess touched his cheek " i killed him.......for you......but he striked at me and killed me too...." she muttered, " everyones free......and were still together......" she breathed out reaching for his hands and interlocking her fingers in his, " but for how long Aryess..? if toi died after him that means toi still killed him......you beat the game....i didnt...." Bentley muttered out, Aryess kissed him lightly on the cheek and looked down " whatever happens ill find a way to be with you......" she muttered, she blinked back tears " ill even die for you....." she breathed out crying and hugged him " ill find you.....ill find toi and im sure youll wake up in reality with me......we will see Amara again.....we will see her grow up.....we will be together forever..... no matter what......" she reassured herself though she had no idea if it would really happen. Bentley swallowed hard and breathed out " so what happens now? " he breathed out, Bentley blinked seeing his arms begin to fade along with Aryess, Aryess gasped hugging him tightly as she hugged her back and they disappeared into mist.

The beeping of the cœur, coeur monitor was heard quietly as ringing also pounded in her ears, she blinked staring up at the bright lights on the ceiling and looked at her hand that was thin and showed the bone, she sat up weakly looking around the room for Bentley as her nervegear began to power down, when it beeped she toook it off weakly and dropped it to the floor, " Bentley......." she wheezed out weakly, there was no reply, she turned her body as her thin legs dangled of the edge of the bed, she grabbed the inciline fluid in the bad on the metal pole and used it for support as she stood up weakly, she walked down the hallway as her long blonde hair dangled down to her waist now and she made her way down the hospital hallway slowly and weakly " Bentley....." she wheezed out.
