toi look up in awe as your guardian tells toi stories of Heroes with capes and powers no normal human can have. The good they do to be awarded l’amour and respect, to earn the fear in their enemies, and to feel the weight of the world on them.

toi wish so badly to become a hero like those, to have powers and to save lives. Not a thought fills your head about the powers already developing in your young body, no trace of an idea of the destruction ou construction they will bring to the fragile world around you.

Your young eyes narrow as your guardian pats your head and kisses toi before heading to lit and telling toi to do the same. toi begin to protest bu your guardian picks toi up and carries toi to your bed.

Filled with excitement toi can't sleep, toi beg for another story, but are rejected with a Kiss again and a hug before being put to rest. Slumber doesn't come easy. toi get up and look out the window.

A shooting-star.

toi heard of stories where princesses ou princes wished upon stars and got what they wanted. But toi where neither of those things. toi where you. A growl escapes your lips but toi look up at the sky and wish so hard to meet a superhero.

Fate has a different path for you.

toi open your eyes and hiss as nothing is different. Suddenly the powers, that have been cooped up for so long, are released. A glossy gaze fills your eyes as toi realized what just happened. Staring at your hands toi don't understand... but you. Less than ordinary you, extraordinary you.

toi can't understand, you're too young to even comprehend, that you'll have to kill people and save people for yourself and toi know toi will live a life of doubt, love, evil, good, you'll leave loved ones, make friends, watch them die.. Will toi be a hero? A villain? toi have no idea but that's up to fate to decide on what path toi follow.
