Distances are man-made. Rather she wanted it ou not, she created it. Solemnly, the woman clad in black stalked the scene: sirens blaring, whips cracking, booms echoing and a howl to set the hairs on her arms straight. Nerves began shaking uncomfortably underneath her long inhale. Exhaling uneasiness out her system, she no longer had the cœur, coeur to watch the show. Sliding her goggles into places, the cat took her leap.
Heels scoffed as they claque, smack pavement, she tumbled vers l'avant, vers l’avant just to land back onto her feet but before she was able to execute her escape any further, this cat was caught. Picking her rather tense body up, her émeraude irises flickered to the man before her.
"Selina." He groan as he kept his stern composure.
"Bruce," she returned simple hostility in her tone. Hips swaying to her left while her fingers curl her goggles away from her mossy glare. "Where's the Boy Wonder?" Nudging her chin to the empty side of the vigilante.
"Chasing a stray cat." Batman avowed with a turn of his cape towards the roofs edge.
Hesitantly, Catwoman followed. Her hands kept onto her side, when it comes to him, she kept her guard. Both watch as their protégé exchange nothing but blows. Whereas the mentors held nothing plus than a tense atmosphere. Catwoman swallowed the lodge in her throat, soon afterwards she began hugging her elbows as the montrer commenced.
Silence swept across them, yet conversations were kept lively. Every coup de poing resonated agony, every kick stated their freedom away from the shadows and each time their backs would hit floors determination filled the air. However the arielist feline undertone began to shine.
"Crying... He's crying." Selina realized. Her hands dropped as she leaned over the ledge. "Soarin'."
Tears broke his water line as he kept his stance against Robin, but in a matter of secondes his goggles fogged up. His vision abscise under the moist, allowing a hook to enter his field. The bird's knuckles broke through the inferred and jerked the cat's head back. Nonetheless, as soon as the cat's vision sparked back he returned a favor. He bend his spine far enough for his palms to touch ground, the cat snap his lower body upwards. Smoothly his body arc but as he pull his weight up and over, the tip of his boots rammed underneath the birds chin. The bird soar to the sky but not for long, the cat's claws dug onto the floor soon he lept to the skies to meet the bird's glide and giving the final blow. Fingers interlocked and raised over his head, with a battle cry the cat sent the bird back to ground zero.
"Catwoman! I hope toi can hear me! Because I don't need you! I can make it on my own! I don't need... You... I don't..." His voice suffocating from the cascade of tears flowing. "I don't need you..." Convincing himself, he fell to the ground holding onto his face as he bawled into nothing. "I need you."
"Tell me Selina, why did toi leave him?"
Leaving him, plus like helping him was all Selina could evoked without a hint of betrayal. The bridge that brought the pair together was revoked, her arm kept par her side as she hauled herself to her escape and thus the boy was left with the a bird with cuffs.
"Stray needs you, not me." Selina hated her voice, it felt so foreign, strain almost. "He needs a better mentor."
"Selina, do toi hone--"
With his attention averting away from the fisticuffs, Batman realized Catwoman took her farewell.
"Ugh!"
Snapping back, Batman brought his gloved fingers to his ceinture searching for a tool. The lads were entangled in their hate: Stray was ringed par his own whip while Robin cape snaked his throat.
"NGH, bloody... Argh." Stray groaned.
"Nif! You're not going anywhe--." Robin muffled.
Stray's inner thighs clenched against Robin's, the pair desperately tried to gain the upper hand. Heaving and hoing, tugging onto cloth ou handle to yank the other over. Teeth grinding as blood spieled from the corners of their cracked lips.
"Both of you, enough."
Without warning, smoke emerged and began to encircle the pair. Quickly they removed their clenches and cover their coughing lungs. Stray fell to the ground, legs still wrapped around Robin, he coughed louder and drier but soon his mind flashed white along with Robin. Batman strolled over, glancing a disapproval stare back and forth between the unconscious lads.
Sighing, he examine the mess: Domino mask barely holding on, knuckles bare and gutted, skin leaker than a burst pipe line. Sighing once more, Batman Pressed his forefinger against his ear.
"Alfred get the guest room ready and pull files for Soarin' Kyle."

Nothing was brighter than the smiles they flashed, even the camera flashes were dimmed. Loosening the bow tie, Soarin' return his irises back to the news herd. He stood to the right of the billionaire and arms length away from the ward. A distance he actually preferred.
"Mister Wayne, Mister Wayne!" Reporters cried.
"Enough questions for now," Bruce Wayne smoothly exited the hall with his ward and newly found charity case to follow.
"You look good in between my legs, Dickie. Tsk, we sho..." Soarin' shut himself up when he caught Bruce's humph. "Sorry, daddy." He purred, receiving another gawk but from the other Wayne.
"Soarin' when we're in the public eye, please act accordingly. You're now representing the Wayne name." Bruce warned as he stepped into their ride. "Do toi want me to repeat..."
"NO! No, please don't!" Soarin' paniacked, the door slamming shut. "I can't handle 2 hours."
"Ha." Dick interjected. "Cats aren't meant to be trained."
"I'll shove toi into a cage birdy ou would toi rather sit on daddy dearest lap?" With pop of his lips, Soarin' turn his cheek to the tinted window. His eye still pulsing in agony. "Huh?" He nearly jumped out of his siège but the ceinture caught him. "Selina?"
Soarin' followed the line of strut the woman swayed, turning his head but before getting a good look they vroom on out. The woman stop in her strut, pulling her bug-eyed glasses off revealing her émeraude irises. She watched as the luxury on wheels wheeled away.
"Bruce Wayne announced the adoption of Soarin' Kyle. He wishes to turn this young man's from a life of crime."
She pressed her gloved tips onto the screen, listening to the news cast and watching her kitten grow. Whether she wants it ou not, distance was made. In the hopes, this kitty doesn't grow claws like her.
