I usually write in the present but sometimes I write in the past like showing memories that have already happened.

I really only like past tense. I don't mind reading present tense but I don't like writing it. And future tense just sounds like it would be very challenging to read or write.

Generally past tense. I find writers get sloppy with present tense and use it to convey a sense of immediacy rather than bringing that immediacy out in the actual story.

I think present tense is somehow weird... I don't know. I dislike using it. I always get messed up and suddenly write in past tense again.
And I actually never read anything that was from the very beginning to the end only written in future tense. How is that even possible?

It really depends, but for the most part, I write in past tense. Some of my stories are in present tense, but it takes a lot of practice to do it right.

I've tried present and future but I just... dunno. It does not come easily and I usually, inadvertently, end up switching to past.

No one picked future. :O Huh. I love writing in the future. It's comletely up to your imagination, so you can do whatever you want.

I write in present if I can.

If I'm just writing (as in, not going to turn the writing into anything visual like a film or a play) then I pretty much always go with past tense. I do present tense for any kind of scriptwriting, and when writing narrative captions for comics and graphic novels, but otherwise past tense it is!

I am so tempted to try future tense someday though.
