écriture Question

I give up! What's the big deal about fantaisie stories?

Isn't our own life plus fantastic than we think?

That's a good point, too. They are. But I think that's something people need to realise on their own. toi know?

Fantsy doesnt mean everything is happy, is just means it doesnt exist. Fantsy is one of the most open of all écriture genres. So even that Fantsy has mini genres, like fan Fiction. fan Fiction can be classified as Fantsy because mosat of the time the charectors don't exist. And others like Horror and Children's. But there not always classified as Fantsy, only when most charectors, settings and themes aren't real.

I believe that the appeal of fantaisie is different for everybody. For me, it's,that toi can fully express your opinions and emotions in a way that doesn't necessarily hurt others. Sometimes it's just the fact that anything can happen, it is both optimism and pessimism in their truest form. Also, it's a place to showcase how toi see the world and is in my opinion one of the most creative forms of writing.

People of all ages enjoy it, and fantaisie like reality are extremely important to productivity. toi need dreams to guide toi on your way to achieving your goals.

Nobody can survive without a little spark. And its important to remember that there is bits of reality in every fantasy. fantaisie isn't just to escape real life, it's also a way to find moral and purpose.

Sure, life is fantastic, but people don't want to see the bigger picture. No; it's like they can't see the big picture. We're not like the authors, artists, ou other intelligent people way before our time, when they used to see all of the hidden meanings within everything.

In order to make the world a plus "interesting" place, people write fantaisie stories in order to make us dream of what it would be like. People then yearn for that kind of story in their lives, but the problem is that they can't have it. There can be stories of people having some sort of power, sure, but we have yet to prove that we actually have something like that inside.

Think of it this way, though: we only use so much of our minds. Maybe it's deep within there, and we just can't attain it. It's possible that some authors are trying to suggest something, and we may not know it...

I guess what it comes down to is that people are bored with their lives and when they read, they read to escape it. Not to have to read plus about it, if toi get me. When toi write toi can create anything toi want. It's like the Matrix. Why stick to rules we have in real life when toi can create soemthing different?
Just a bit of fun I guess.

Though ours in mind not everyone read fiction. Most of the adults I know read non-fiction. I think it's teenagers that lean plus towards fantaisie because a) that's what's marketed to them, b) it's a bit less heavy going I would say, and c) for the reasons I already said. Maybe par the time when get to adulthood we realise life is pretty fantastic? Just a theory.

ou maybe we're just too tired and jaded to use our imagination anymore. How sad.

The big deal about fantaisie stories is that... people enjoy them. Just like how people enjoy mysteries, romance, sci-fi, young adult, adult, hard cover books, soft-cover books.

There's endless reasons to like it, and endless reasons to not. But in the end, it all just boils down to preference.

Well, fantaisie is one of the easiest genres to work with for most people. toi get to create entirely different worlds, species, and people. It's really a great way to expand écriture skill because of all the thinking that goes into it. For instance, realistic fiction is extremely simple because it's based around a world of our own. We already know pretty much everything we need. But in fantasy, toi have to stretch the mind a lot more. It works great. Plus, most fantasies are fun to read. Much Ado About Nothing, Distant Waves, Twilight, Harry Potter... So many famous fantasies. That makes lots of beginning writers want to try it out and see if they're as good as their fantaisie idol.
