I already reviewed Christmas Cruelty, a Norwegian horror Christmas movie. Now, Iā€™m going to review a Dutch Christmas horror movie from the Netherlands. Iā€™ve never seen ou heard of any Netherland movies, but I am going to assume that they can get some good movies. And this movie must be one of themā€¦ Right? Well, this movie was to mark the return of horror movie director, Dick Maas. So, this guy must have had some sort of experience in making horror movies. Well, letā€™s look into his return to the horror industry, and take a look at the movie Sint, ou Saint in Europe, ou Saint Nick in the U.Sā€¦ They couldnā€™t just pick one?

So the movie takes the story of Sinterklaas, ou Santa Claus, and distorts it into a dark fantaisie world. Instead of Sinterklaas being a good natured soul who delivers gifts to people on Christmas, he is the murderous ghost of Niklas who, with his evil ghost gang, goes around murdering hundreds (Literally hundreds) of people when his holiday is celebrated on a full moonā€¦ Wellā€¦ Itā€™s an original take on the story. So, the story centers around a police officer named Goert whose family was killed par Sinterklaas on one fateful Christmas night. Now, not celebrating the Sinterklaas tradition, he is trying to stop people from celebrating it before Sinterklaas strikes again, but of course, no one believes Goert when he says that the evil ghost of Niklas and his evil horse gang are going to murder people on the streets, and must now do what he can to prevent Sinterklaas from attacking. Now, for some reason, that plot doesnā€™t happen much in this movie. Itā€™s mostly thrown to the side. Most of the movie is mostly about Sinterklaas and how he goes around doing his killings around the holiday season. Kinda ironic, considering that the poor bastard is barely in the movie at all.

What I find to be the most disappointing part of this entire movie is Sinterklaas himself. Not that heā€™s a bad monster. In fact, heā€™s a great monster. montrer him in a modern time, in that old centuries old uniform on a white horse, just standing in the snowfall at night, without revealing his face is just really creepy. He really shows himself as being a very creepy character. Heā€™s even able to travel across roof tops and through walls, really montrer how he really is a ghost. This is the best depiction of a ghost Iā€™ve seen in awhile. And when his face is revealed, itā€™s pretty damn good. The makeup on him looks very professional and well done. Sure, I like subtlety and this does kinda ruin it par revealing his face, but I canā€™t deny that the makeup looks really damn good on him. Unfortunately, itā€™s easy to appreciate something that toi rarely see. And that is exactly what Sinterklaas is. We rarely see this guy in the movie at all. We see the fear he brings in people and we see just how scared people are of him, but not much of him, really. But, this does kinda make him plus scary, as seeing what effects he causes on people can be just as good as seeing the monster himself. I guess I both lā€™amour and hate that I donā€™t get to see Sinterklaas much. I lā€™amour seeing the fear people are in in this movie, but I hate that we donā€™t get plus Sinterklaas.

Well, letā€™s talk about something else here. I lā€™amour the jouer la comĆ©die in this movie. It never feels like the actors are trying too hard, but it never feels like they donā€™t care either. They always feel genuine. Especially the cop Goert. Sure, his backstories cliched, ā€œthe villain killed my family and I want revengeā€ and all that, but at least he has some talent in acting. The violence in this movie is also really haut, retour au dĆ©but notch. The gore looks just like what youā€™d expect from a movie about a murderous gang of ghosts lead par the Dutch version of Santaā€¦. What? But, unfortunately, the movie feels very limited. It feels like the director was limited on what he wanted to do, and the story feels very unfinished in most places. toi can just tell that this movie had hundreds of restrictions put on it. Thatā€™s probably because parents hated this movie because of its depiction of Sinterklaas. Yep, itā€™s Silent Night, Deadly Night all over again, with director Dick Maas argument being that if parents could convince their kids that Sinterklaas exists, they can convince them that the man in the movie wasnā€™t Sinterklaas. Well damn, Dick Maas didnā€™t fuck around. Sadly, the movie studio didnā€™t seem to agree, and just seemed to his creative work. And I thought American films were restricted.

Sint is a movie that I had a lot of fun watching. Is it the best movie out there, no, but I had a lot of fun with it. I lā€™amour the stupid action scenes, and the effects on the monsters and with the violence. It really makes me want to look into Dick Maas other films like De Lift ou Amsterdamned. He definitely seems to have peaked my interest. Iā€™d say, if toi like horror films that donā€™t take themselves seriously, than this is the movie for you. I recommend watching it. Barely anyone watches it, since it is a very obscure movie, and the only people who seem to have watched are from the country of Netherlands. Maybe one day, we can get this movie to be recognized par an English audienceā€¦ ou not, I donā€™t know. Take care.
I know that Halloween isnā€™t for another nine months, but screw it, I like Halloween and if we can still celebrate Christmas in January, then we can celebrate Halloween at any time. So, let us talk about witches in the media, as requested par mariofan14. There are a lot of witches out there. Some are seen as old green women with an evil mind, and the other are young and beautiful women who are good hearted, but a bit mischievous. So, before we start, a few rules. I am including witches from everything. Games, movies, anime, toi name it. If itā€™s a witch, sheā€™s there. Second, only from what...

Welcome to Eastwood was a very successful series of mine (As successful as it gets with my writing). So, naturally, there was a lot of work and lā€™amour that went on behind it. So, I want to share some facts about Welcome to Eastwood. Any information about the series and what goes on in the making is able to be put on here

#1: Welcome to Eastwood was inspired from the creator, Nik Craig's, own experiences in middle school and high school, where everyone did things that he thought were, and I quote, ā€œVery fucking stupidā€.

#2: The series was originally going to have the main character have a god...

I lā€™amour Resident Evil so much. Resident Evil introduced all to the horror genre. Resident Evil 2 had the perfect sense of horror. Resident Evil 3 gave us Nemesis. Resident Evil Remake pretty much perfected the horror genre. Resident Evil 4 was the best thing ever made. And everything else is either bad ou no one cares about it. So naturally, Hollywood, being Hollywood, wanted to cash in on the franchise, despite not knowing what they were working on. What could go wrong. Everything! Everything could go wrongā€¦.. Hereā€™s the Resident Evil movie.

So, the movie follows a group of soldiers...

Okay, this is a movie I am 100% going into blind. I have no knowledge of what this movie is ou what it is about. But, after lire a brief plot summary without spoilers, I learned that this is a film about science fiction horror and Lovecraftian entities. And already, I was sold. So letā€™s see if 2009ā€™s Pandorum is worth the attention of others.

The film takes place over a hundred years into the future. Earthā€™s resources have been completely diminished and a ship is sent into lā€™espace to find the planet Tanis, in the hope of starting a new life. Two men, Bower and Payton, awaken from...

nfic. The Pokemon Story was so fucking bad that I avoided anything Pokemon related for a whole month. Weather it was the games, the shows, the trading cards, ou the shit-load of collectables I have, I avoided it because the Pokemon Story was a goddamn fucking mess, and it still is, and it always will be to no end. The Pokemon Story is still the worst Pokemon fanfic as well as the worst fanfiction ever written, but that doesn't mean its the only terrible Pokemon Fanfic. No. No. Fuck no. That would have just made my job too easy and bearable. And so, the suivant and hopefully last (Though I doubt...

So, Tenkai Knights: Rebelle Battle, a game on the 3DS that was forgotten about, even par enthusiasts of bad video games, like myself, probably for reasons that it deserves. And yes, I am stretching this out as much as I can because I have no idea what Tenkai Knights is. Unlike Deal ou No Deal, which I had a vague understanding of, I never watched the show, Tenkai Knights. I canā€™t make jokes about that. But I what I can make jokes about is that Tenkai Knights: Rebelle Battle is a fighting game that was developed par Bandai Namco, the same studio that brought us Tekken and SoulCalibur, some of the...

I remember a time when people were talking about how amazing Dead lā€™espace 2 was, and while itā€™s not a bad game par any meansā€¦ Iā€™m sorry, I just donā€™t get why people call it the best in the series. Well, if it was this ou Dead lā€™espace 3, I could understand. But honestly, my favori in the series is and will always be the original Dead Space.
Dead lā€™espace follows Isaac Clarke, a shy little boy who travels with a rescue team to the Ishimura, a massive lā€™espace mining ship that went radio silent some time ago. Isaac came because his wife, Nicole, is on the ship, and could still be alive. But...

Point and Click horror games were always a favori of mine. Sure, the gameplay is HORRIBLY limited, but they always managed to tell such interesting stories and have some creepy and disturbing monsters and images. Games like Sanitarium, Darkseed, I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream (NOT FUCKING FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDYā€™S) were all favoris of mine. However, the game that started the point and click horror craze and launched horror games into the mainstream was a little SNES game, that was so disturbing and violent that it never got released in America until a few years later. That game we now...

So it should come as no surprise that I like fighting games. Am I a pro that can go to EVO and beat all the greatest? Hell no. I am just a passionate fan who would no doubt get destroyed in online matches. I even like the bad fighting games like Mortal Kombat: Armageddon and Rise of the Robots. But then we get to todayā€™s game, Fighter Withinā€¦ for the Kinect. I honestly thought Kinect was over and done with after Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor, but nope, it somehow manages to pompe out garbage. Leeching off of the 360 in the last stages of its life and then moving on to the Xbox One afterward...

Alright, everyone. Weā€™re getting close to the end of the 12 Days of Christmassacre. Today, weā€™ve got something a bit plus recent. Only about a few years old from Finland. Man, Europe loves itā€™s horror Christmas movies, donā€™t they? The film is actually an expansion on a short film created in 2003, titled Rare Exports Inc., created par the director of this movie, and was made again to expand the movie a little bit plus to give it a bit plus of a sort of charm. As charming as Christmas horror films get. But, I definitely had a lot of enjoyment out of this silly movie. It may sound stupid...

Intros are something that is apparent in many things. Be it shows, movies, and of course, video games. Though they may seem not as important, these can easily turn someone away ou leave a pretty dull experience if done poorly. Some games have pretty bland intros, while some don't have any at all. Just a few company logos and then the game starts. But then there are the games that do take toi to the intros that stick with toi for a long time and just make toi want to come back to them, view them every time toi turn the game back on.
