dimitri delemma

WTF is wrong with you!!! SO Dimitri is being a Jerk. He was awakend remember. And the only thing adrian wants is sex and he knws it. So I still l’amour Dimitri. I think Rose can really help him. she shouldn't give up either cause thats the l’amour of her life. I kinda know what she's going through though. toi know the guy still loves toi but he's jouer la comédie like a dick. And toi still l’amour him so don't give up Rose Comrade needs toi to save him even though he doesn't realize it now..

Dimitri was horrible to Rose in Spirit Bound, but only because he is currently in a horrible mental state. When a person goes through something as traumatic as what Dimitri went through that is totally to be expected.
He's pushing her away because it's all he knows to do to keep her safe.
I do think he still loves her. I'm not sure if he knows he still loves her, though.
I think right now he's just so messed up mentally that he doesn't know anything other than when he was a Strigoi he hurt people, went against everything he ever believed in, broke the vow, "they come first", and worst of all, hurt Rose.
We can't forget that he spent the last four months plotting her death. When he became a Strigoi, his l’amour turned into obbsession and knowing all of that kills him.
He can't see past any of the horrible things he did and doesn't feel like his wrongs can ever be righted ... which they can't ... which makes it that much worse.
He will need to begin moving past all of this before he will ever be able to be involved with anyone ... Rose ou someone else.
In a sense he was telling the truth when he a dit he couldn't l’amour because right now he needs to heal, but that doesn't mean he's not capable of loving ou that he doesn't l’amour Rose.
In Spirit Bound Adrian grew on me a lot. I really, really like him, but with that said, I don't think he and Rose will work out. She cares about him, but she doesn't l’amour him. Not like she loves Dimitri and that will keep them apart in the long run.
In a nutshell ... I think that both Adrian and Dimitri, both genuinally l’amour Rose, but I also think that she will not end up with either of them, unless she either forgets about Dimitri totally and allows herself to truly l’amour Adrian ... which isn't going to happen ... ou unless Dimitri does some serious soul searching, counselling, and/or whatever else it may take to get his head/heart straight again.

i think your kind of missing how dimitri really feels... in the first couple livres he was hiding how he truly felt about rose because 'they come first' he was choosing his duty over his cœur, coeur because well hes a badass guardian. but he let his guard down around rose a few times and then eventually in shadow Kiss he let it down completely. then in spirit bound it went up again but not for the same reason.... he loves rose so much that he doesnt want to forgive himself for what he did to her so therefore he thinks she deserves the best and he doesnt think hes good for her anymore. so dimitri is only trying to distance himself from her and the only way to do that is to try and convince her that he doesnt l’amour her anymore. but at the end of spirit bound he is slowly starting to let his guard down again like when he tries to protect rose from the guardians.... he can deny his l’amour for rose all he wants but in the end it wont do him any good because they were meant for each other and shes going to break down his

IN SPIRIT BOUND ADRIAN WAS SO NICE TO ROSE. HE a dit THAT HE WASNT GUNNA PUSH ROSE TO DO ENYTHING. I AM NOT GONNA SAY THAT DIMITRI IS A JERK BUT THERE IS NO REASON TO CALL ADRIAN A JERK.
I THINK DIMITRI AND ADRIAN THEY BOTH ARE TOO GOOD FOR ROSE. THEY SHOULD LEAVE HER. THEY DESERVE SOME ONE BETTER THAN HER.

i think that he still loves rose but cant forgive himself for what he has done plus he wounldnt the gards get rose he was still fighting for her

i have a cœur, coeur for both dimitri and adrian...but i think dimitri is just having a hard time wit everything that has happened and he just needs time and i kinda want both of them to be wit her but that cant happen..loves adrian and i think if dimitri wasnt around then yes adrian and rose would be tother.

i think dimitri was kinda cruel though. i think his l’amour has not faded though, i think he is just trying to get rose to get away from him b/c he is having such a hard time. but i hope having a hard time ends wit spirit bound he better still not be mean in last sacrifice to her, even if its in the beginning.

i know. i had the same dilemma after i read spirit bound, but thatnkfully i got it straightened out. Adrian is a really great guy and he really cares about rose, but Dimitri i think cares more. Maybe im wrong but, i don't know why he's giving Rose a hard time but he's gotta have a good reason. i think he's worried that something strigoi is still inside him and he doesn't want to hurt Rose again. At the end of the book when the guardians come to take Rose, Im pretty sure Dimitri would've done anything to protect her. thats it. I hope it helps :)

well, try to understand dimitri. after everything that happened to him, do toi really think that he can just go back to his former self just like that? he Lost too much of himself. nd try to think of this, what if he's just concerned about rose? what if he's just afraid of ruining her reputation? i do believe that he just blames himself for everything and for all the bad things that he did while he was a strigoi. and because of this he feels like he doesn't deserve to l’amour and be loved c:... but if toi really don't like him anymore, i'll be happy to have him for myself...love ya

Before i read spirit bound i was all for rose and dimitri, now i have moved on and want him out of the picture for my man adrian! lmao.

i think dimitri is a jerk not because i like adrian..i think rose belongs with dimitri..but dimitri thinks he had done many bad things to her in the past which is unforgivable..but why does not he understands that rose can do any thing for him.she went to russia just for him leaving her best freind behind and she is the one who is being breaking prison,fighting with the system just for him and he should know she will be able to forgive him no matter what

I think you're kind of missing the point of Dimka's behavior. Didn't toi notice how he kept changing his reasons for wanting her to stay away from him. It went from, "I can't l’amour you" to "I'm not supposed to" to "I don't l’amour you." He can still remember everything he did when he was a Strigori and it sickens and hurts him. It's not that he literally can't l’amour - he can l’amour and he still does l’amour her. It's that he thinks she can do better.
