I mean, it would be great if Edward was human, but then again...they wouldn't be together forever...they promised each other they would never die! Right? I would love it either way, because then they would be equal, balanced.

Edward wants to be human more than Bella wants him to be human, so he would become human for his own sake over Bella's. I think he derserves that after all the time he has spent as a vamp.
