Chapter 3

“Edward! Stop it!” Carlisle’s commanding voice snapped Edward out of his trance. Jacob wasted no time, he rushed to Bella’s side “Carlisle, she’s not moving, why isn’t she moving?” Jacob’s voice was breaking, fear was invading his body. What would he do without Bella? Edward was standing La Reine des Neiges on the spot, realising what he’d done. What made it even worse was that he wasn’t worrying about whether Bella was okay ou not. He was plus concerned about the little cut Bella had gotten where she had landed. It wasn’t a big cut; even Jacob had not noticed it yet. But...

Chapter 2
Bella’s bruises where healing, both Edward and Jacob were glad for the bruises reminded them of something they didn’t want to be reminded of. For Edward they reminded him of how close he had come to hurting her and for Jacob they reminded him of how he was leaving Bella in the hands of a cold monster.
Edward had gone to hunt when Bella’s doorbell rang. Bella was humming a happy tune while unpacking boxes of her and Edward’s belongings, getting settled into their new accueil made her feel like she and Edward were somewhat a normal couple. She hoped it was Alice but life was cruel...
