Chapter 18
I looked at Emily in shock.
“”oh , my , gosh, Emily you’re so skinny” I told her.
“sam why aren’t toi feeding your wife?” I asked sam..
“renesme I don’t know how to cook” sam complained.. i shook my head. And them me and Emily laughed.. the guys looked at us in confusion.
“amily one plus thing why aren’t toi wearing any make-up ou u want to look natural for sam?” I asked her.
“I don’t really know how to put make-up on” she toold me embarrassed.. I looked at her shocked.
“I got an idea , jake give me my bags” I told him. He gave me the bags and I took them.
“Emily come with me, no peeking guys” I told them. Me and Emily went inside the house and into the bathroom. It was small so it was very difficult to move.. I got my make-up box and opened it.
“u use all this?” she asked me.
“some of it, but some I just keep in case I need them” I told her. I got all the supplies I needed and started putting make-up on her. First I put mascara on , then eye liner. Then I got some powder and started covering the scar. I put some eyeshadow on it was light so u could barely see it.. and at last I put some lip gloss on.next I did her hair and I fixed mine too. Emily got a short red dress and I got a white blue dress.. so it took me an heure to get me and Emily ready.
“there” I a dit when I finlly finished. Emily looked in the mirror. In surprise.
“is thT RElly me?” she asked herself.
“aha”I isad .
“now lets go and montrer toi off” I added. She smiled and we went. He guys were laughing and talking about something.
“sam get ready to see the 2005 audition of Emily” I said. sam stood up.
“Emily come out” I told her. When Emily came out Sam and all the other guys looked at her breathless.
“sam go up to her do something already, geez guys are so slow theses days” I complained. So sam went upyo her, and whispered something in her ear.He gave her a Kiss and then I knew we had to look away but the guys didn’t know that. I hit jakes arm and he looked away and went to the beach. I told the rest of the guys to go. So they followed jake and then I went too. Embry and quil were wrestling and the other guys were just joking around. I went to sit par jake, seth, and paul.
“how did u make her so beautiful?” jake asked me. I shrugged. Even if I told the guys that I just used a littlr make-up they still wont understand what I’m talking about so I just didn’t say anything.
“So u going to school tomorrow?” paul asked me.
“yeah toi guys should montrer me around a little” I told them.
“no problem” seth a dit the fastest. Paul his arm. And they started laughing..
“one plus thing, Alice has to come here” I told them and they looked at each other.
“that’s up to sam.” Jake said.
“but I think he’ll let because of what toi make Emily” we sat there talking when Embry came with a bunch dirt in his hands and threw it on me.
“ahhh! Embry your dead!” I yelled. It was windy par the beach. When we were running around, jake jumped up with a mad face and looked to the left. I stopped and wondered why he was so mad. So I looked to the left, and I couldn’t believe it.. ivan was standing there. I felt so happy I ran up rto him and gave him a hug.
“I didn’t really trust the werewolfs so I came” ivan told me.
“you know the treaty and its for all vampires” jake a dit in an angry voice.
“jake relax he just came to visit” I told him tryin to calm him down, but it didn’t work.
“nessie, im sorry but this is not our choice no vampires on this reservation, that means he’s not allowed to come here” jake told me.
“jake!” I yelled in disappointment. Sam came out to enjoy the sunset with Emily, and then saw me and jake argueing.
“whats wrong-“ he didn’t finish the sentence when he saw Ivan.
“what is a vampire doing on this reservation?” sam a dit in a angry voice. I stood in front of Ivan when sam was coming oward us in a hurry.Emily ran after him.
“sam he came to see me” I told him and looked at sam.
“nessie he cant be here im sorry” sam a dit apologetically. Emily stood par him and looked at sam with sad eyes. I looked at Ivan and gave his a kiss, and looked at him for the last time.
“ ill see toi later Ivan” I told him, and ran towards jakes house. I was tearing inside, they didn’t know what l’amour really felt (except sam) they never know how it feels to be away from someone toi would die for. Since they hate vampires why don’t they hate me? Why don’t they just killme right now? Not seeing Ivan for couple of hours made me mad that I cant spend every minute with him. I’ve always wondered if what my mother was saying about no vampires on the La Push reservation was real, well I just found out the answer. I went into the bathroom and changed into a aléatoire outfit and went to wash my dirty clothes. Emily came from behind me.
“im soryy I could do anything” she told me.
“its ok” I told her. It wasn’t her fault. She couldn’t make sam do anything, he was an alpha and Emily grabbed my hand and made me turn toward her. Tears were falling down my cheeks so now I know how my mother was feeling when my father left to Italy. It was cœur, coeur breaking that your one and only ouldnt be with toi right where toi want them to be.
“oh nessie I really am sorry,” she kept on saying.. Emily started crying too. But I didn’t get it, why was she crying? She gave me a hug and didn’t let me go. Sam and the pack came and saw us. I ccould see that sam felt really bad for doing that. I wiped the tears away and stopped crying. And I pretecded like nothing happemd but it did!!! Sam came closer but I just ignored him I started talking to myself in my mind and I thought that he should just let it go. But he didn’t maybe because of this he made Emily cry too. I hanged my clothes outside to dry, I thow it was stupid of me because there was no sun so they wouldn’t dry anyway. I ignored him all the way and I walked into the house. Then I grabbed my bags from the bathroom and went to jakes room to unpack. I was unpacking, when sam, jake, and Embry came in..
“nessie” sam said.
“did someone call my mine?” I asked myself, ignoring Sam. One of my bags were par sam. So I went to get it. When I was walking par I stepped on Sam’s foot on purpose and I saw his expression I knew it hurt him and that was good. I got it and turned around and stepped on his foot again and again he was hurt. I went into the bathroom and changed into my pajama. When I changed I went to the lit and then my phone rang. I picked it up nd it was Ivan.
“Hi honey” he told me.
“het sweetie” I told him. “im so sorry about what happened today, I didn’t know that the wolfs are going to react like that.” I apologized to him. Sam , embry and jake were still standing there, not sitting on the ground.
“its ok nessie no one knew that”
“no one except my mother” I told him with a sad voice.
“nessie I just called toi to tell toi I miss toi as always and I wanted to wish toi good dreams.”
“I miss toi too, now toi have to go hunting” I told him, there was a pause.
“ nessie aren’t u going hunting too, u didn’t go for so long”
“no im too tired right now, ill go tomorrow, and I’ll drag u with me” I told him, trying to keep my voice straight but I guess I didn’t do a good job because Ivan’s voice was different. I never heard his voice like that. Ever.
“ok nessie, I hope to see toi again” he told me. It hurt me because I could see him, because of some stupid treaty.
“I miss toi “ I told him the lasy time.
“good night”
“night” I told him and put down the phone. I was calm but teardrops were falling. I clapped two times and the light went off. I layed there on the lit then igot anxious.
“stupid treaty!” I yelled and threw the closest thing I had par me on the wall. Somehow I fell asleep and I had a bad dream. A really bad dream. I was using my powers against my family and friends, I didn’t want the powers anymore. I don’t want to torture my family and friends. Never. When I woke up, I was crying hesterically. I stopped when I heard my phone ring. It was an unknown number. I picked it up.
“hello?” I said. there was a pause
“is this renesme carlie Cullen?’ an unfamiliar voice said.
“yes and who’s this?” I asked there was a pause again
“im calling because of Ivan Krasnov”
“yes?” I asked eagerly.
“Dr. Carlisle is waiting in his office for you, it seems your one of Ivan’s emergency callers and he’s got in a major car accident and he wants to see you”
“um okay I’ll be right there” I said. I put down the phone and got dressed fast and left. I left jake a note in case he’s going to be looking for me. I ran as fast as I could and I arrived at the hospital 20minutes later. I walked in the hospital actually I ranin. I ran to a dest.
“hello, im renesme Cullen” I told the lady at the dest.
“oh yes, Dr.Cullen is waiting for toi in his room” he a dit and led me to his room.. when she opened the door Dr.Cullen was tlking on the phone.
“grandpa wats wrong wheres Ivan?” I asked him.
“nessie ” he told me, and he told the lady to go.
“ivan was in a car accident, so I brought him to the hospital-”I cut him off he was talking about the unimportant things, all I wanted to know if Ivan is alright and where is he. My grandfather was talking about some things I really didn’t need to know..
“grandpa!” I yelled. In inpatience.
“the good thing he survived” he told me. That was a relief. But theres always bad news.
“the bad news is that he….. might not remember everything” he told me. I what if he doesn’t remember me, nd he wont like me anymore, he wont know who I am. He wont care about me anymore. I started crying again.. my grandfather took me to his room. Ivan was laying on a lit his beautiful eyes were closed. I knew something bad was coming but not this bad. I wont be able to live with out him. I sat par his and my grandfather left us alone. I grabbed Ivans hand and hold me in my warm hands. In the room there wasn’t a cœur, coeur monitor (obviously) I think that’s why my grandfather didn’t let anyone else than him some in this room.
