We were unpacking boxes in our new condo in New York When I heard a knock on the door. I got up to answer it, since Edward was in the other room with Kammie. When I opened the door, a man with black hair and dark green eyes stood there. He looked at me and smiled.
"Hi, I'm looking for Edward...Does he live here?" He asked.
"Yeah, Come on in." I moved out his way and let him in and closed the door." I'm Bella."
"Your Bella...The Bella. I'm Charles,Eddie's room mate. I have heard so much about you." He said. I smiled and felt my cheeks getting red. Edward came out from the back.
"Kameron's down for her nap." He a dit smiling at me. When he came out he saw Charles standing suivant to me.
"Hey Man, I didn't know toi were coming so soon." Edward a dit to him.
"Me either...I just thought I'd surprise toi and check out your place." Charles a dit back." She is way hotter than Tanya too."He added. Edward looked at me with a fearful look on his face.
"How's Tanya?" I asked.
"You didn't tell her?" Charles Asked Edward. Edward shook his head no.
"I'll tell toi later." Edward said. I gave him a look....If looks could kill, he would be dead.
"Tanya was a girl that Eddie went out with...She was in l’amour with him, but ended up breaking up their engagement because everyone compared her to you...and I see why..She was kind of a bitch." I looked at him, I blinked back the tears.
"I'm going to go poisson unpacking." I a dit and rushed par Edward. I went into the bathroom and sat on the tile floor and started to cry. I felt someone trying to open the door.
"Bella, open the door." I heard Edward say. I got up , opened the door.
"You were engaged?" I all but screamed at him through clenched teeth.
"I thought she could fill the void of me not being with you...I tried not to think of her.Everytime I was with her,I thought of you. I was starting to go crazy...I decided that If I would marry her..My feelings for toi would fade,but they didn't. I took her homee to meet my family,but she got annoyed with the fact that EVERYONE compared her to you...They kept on telling me that...she ended up breaking it off and then we moved back to forks...and when I saw you, I felt alive again.." He wrapped me up in his arms.
"I am sorry Bella, toi act like toi haven't had a boyfriend since I left." I laughed..
"Edward, when boys find out toi have a kid, they run off for the hills." I a dit and laughed again. He released me and followed me into our bedroom.
"Am I forgiven." He a dit to me with his crooked smile I loved so much.
"You're forgiven, but your sleeping on the canapé tonight." I a dit and threw a cover at him.
