Ok here's part 4. It rather short compared to the other bits I've posté but owell:
“You ok Clo?” Kim asked, looking concerned. I nodded.
“Yeah I’m fine.” I replied to my Mum, sticking the phone into my pocket, wanting to get accueil earlier, but not wanting to be rude and leave.
After a while Paul announced he was leaving and I thought I would grab the opportunity to get accueil myself, whatever it was Mum had to say had to be important because she wouldn’t just tell me she needed to talk to me tomorrow if it wasn’t.
“Do toi want me to walk toi home?” Paul asked, his eyes searching my expression. I held back the sigh, threatening to escape my mouth. I gave him the best smile I could manage, shaking my head.
“Ok see toi tomorrow then, oh no wait, were not in school tomorrow, I forgot its Friday, toi started on a very odd jour of the week.” He smiled slightly before leaving me to me. Yeah, I had a weird family; they had decided to déplacer into a new area and enrol me in a new school at the end of the week. I walked, quite slowly for me, home, wondering all the way accueil what my Mum could possibly want to talk to me about. As I opened the front door, I could hear the buzzing of the TV and a casserole boiling on the hob, signalling that both my parents were awake and active.
“Chloe, is that you?” Mum almost sung out.
“No I’m a burglar, put your hands up and step away from the cooker I have a gun.” I teased, putting my fingers together. Mum laughed, her cheeks flushing red knowing how silly that must have sounded to me.
“Your accueil earlier than I thought toi would be” She mused while she gently stirred the pasta.
“So are you. I came accueil slightly earlier because I was concerned about your text, whatever toi are going to tell me tomorrow morning can’t toi just tell me now?” I asked. She dropped the spoon into the boiling water, cursing to herself, when it splashed up towards her face.
“I guess we can. Tom come here please.” My step father appeared at door, rubbing his eyes sleepily. She went to stand par his side taking his hand. “We have to tell her.” She whispered. Tom nodded, locking eye contact with me.
“We want toi to look at this with an open mind; toi don’t have to commentaire on it just yet, we can understand you’re going to be a little shocked, don’t know what to think and probably angry too but, toi can sleep on it and let us know, what you’re thinking that is, in the morning.” Tom began.
“Clo, I’m three months pregnant.” Mum said, both of them gauging my reaction. Tom was right; I didn’t know what to think, I just stood there staring at them like the total idiot I was. Why hadn’t I noticed this before, I mean come on three months.
“Tom, I think she’s gone into shock.” Mum whispered, pulling me from my thoughts.
“No, no I’m ok I just need a while, I’ll see toi in the morning.” I a dit heading for the stairs.
I undressed sticking on the black concert t-shirt I always went to lit in and sunk down into my bed, dreaming of the possible brother ou sister I might have.
