Emmett Chapter 2
As toi walk to your car, toi kept getting the feeling somene was watching you. toi go to shut your door when Emmett came on the passenger side and a dit "I thought toi were going to give me a ride?!" laughing. toi laugh a little bit. "I didnt know toi meant today. Go ahead and get in." Emmett then gets in the your car and toi pull out of the school parking lot. As you're driving up to your house Emmett asks "Where are we going?" toi say "I'm just going to tell my mom that I'll be out until tonight with a guy I met at school." Emmett went from smiling to straight faced and a dit "Oh, if you.....have plans with someone, then toi should just drop me off right here and I can walk home." Now toi are the one thats laughing. "Emmett, you're the one I'm hanging out with, toi goober." "OH!!! I thought toi meant someone else." he says laughing again. toi think to yourself "His laugh, his smile, HE makes me feel so warm inside." and at the same time he is thinking "There's just something about her that makes me want to be near her all the time. I have to be careful, I would hate myself if I hurt her in anyway." toi decide to break the silence and ask "So where should we go?" Emmett replys "How about I take toi there?" "What do toi mean par that?" "I mean let me drive and take toi there." "I don't know Emmett." toi say questioning. "___, toi can trust me." And toi look into his eyes and believe his words and pull over. toi both get out and He gets in the drivers seat. He starts driving and says "___, close your eyes" toi do but toi decide to peek for a sec. "NO PEEKING!! Promise?" he says laughing. "Promise." toi say keeping it. Before toi know it toi are picking up speed and toi finally come to a complete stop after a bumpy ride that seemed like it was taking forever. Emmett turns off toi car and he says "Okay, toi can open your eyes." toi do and toi see a beautiful field of fleurs with a little gazebo in the middle of it. "Oh my gosh, Emmett! It's, really-" he cuts toi off par saying "Beautiful, just like you" "Emmett, thank you, really (pause) this made my day." toi say smiling. He smiles and says. "___, I'm the only one who knows about this place. I brought toi here because I wanted toi to see it." "I'm glad toi did." toi reply. He takes your hand and leads toi to the gazebo. When toi get closer to the gazebo, toi notice there wasn't anything special about it. He pull toi in the middle and says "I know its not much, but, I brought toi here to tell toi some things, some of which, toi probably wont understand and want nothing plus to do with me, and, some others, might make toi feel different." He looks toi in your eyes. "Emmett, nothing toi tell me would make me feel any different about you, nor make me not want to be around you." toi say back. "There is something toi don't know about me, well....my family." "Tell me, I want to know, I want to understand." toi beg. "___, my family and I, are...different, something not of this world."
