Chapter Eight (enjoy + comment/rate!)

I wondered idly what the headline of my death would be, as I rode up the winding path to the cliffs. I knew Jared would try to stop me, if he could get away from Collin and Sam that was. I smiled, that was impossible, expect if toi were Leah.
I left my bike half way up and went to chercher for a suitable large rock. There were a lot of contenders, but none of them were big enough. I wanted one so big that there was no chance of me chickening out.
I found a massive boulder that I could only just lift. I carried it out to the clearing around the cliffs. It was so heavy, that I didn’t notice the girl sat on a rock, until she called my name.
“Embry? What the hell?” Sam’s voice was confused.
“Oh hi Sam!” I threw the boulder to the floor a meter ou so from the cliff edge. Then I grabbed the string of leather tied around my ankle and started to tie it around the boulder.
“Embry, you’re not doing what I think toi are?” Her voice was closer.
“Sam and Collin wanted me to do it. They didn’t say it exactly but I knew what they meant.” I grimaced; they had once been my brothers, my family.
Sam sighed, and muttered “Oh my god!” under her breath, sounding exasperated par the whole situation as if I was missing something obvious.
“Look,” she sat suivant to me. “Why are toi giving them what they want? I mean if toi want to kill yourself fine par me, but wouldn’t it be plus fun to annoy the hell out of them par not killing yourself? “I saw her smirk.
“I don’t want to kill myself, but it’s my fault that La Push is falling apart. Maybe if I was dead it would go back to normal.”
Her eyes blazed with anger. “Damn La Push!” She slammed her fist onto the ground. “Who cares what happens to this town? It’s the towns fault not yours. Everyone here is so high and mighty about ‘our town and our tribe’ blah, blah, blah…” she hissed “It’s everyone’s fault for being so judgmental. Everyone here has their secrets, some are worse than your moms.” She looked away. I wondered what her secret was.
“You should be a public speaker. You’ve convinced me.” I grinned hugging her.
“Thanks. I was until…” she trailed off.
“Let’s go do something, stupid, reckless and possibly illegal.” I grinned.
She pulled away from me, and cupped my chin in her hands. “Lets trash this Crap-s-Ville like it’s never been trashed before!” She grinned.
I grinned too. “And I know just the place to start.” I smiled.
“Where?” Sam grinned happily.
“You a dit something about the school?” I grinned, still not sure if I was insane ou not.
