Wedding
I put down my last box when the doorbell rang. I ran downstairs carefully so I didn't knock down any boxes on my way.
"Why thank toi Edward. So kind of you." a dit my mother, Renee before she closed the door on someone. Who was that? Edward?? Very old name. Was he our neighbour?
"Bella. toi just missed him. Edward, our neighbour, just came and dropped off his mother's homemade cookies." she smiled. "Chocolate chip... your favourite." "How old is Edward?" I asked. "He's 12. Same as you. I think he told me he is in Ms. Kerko's class at Fork's Junior High." she said. "Really? Didn't toi tell me I was in Ms. Kerko's too?" I asked.
"Yes. Why don't toi go over to their house and give them a piece of chocolat cake?" she asked. I took a piece of chocolat cake from the cake box we stored inside one of our boxes.
"Kay. Be right back." I walked over suivant door. The opened revealing a beautiful woman with pretty caramel curls. It curled down to her back and she had a very nice young pale face. "Hello. toi must be Isabella." She smiled nicely. "Yes, ma'am." I replied. "Esme Cullen. Pleased to meet you." "Hi Mrs. Cullen." I said. "Esme please." She held out her hand. "Esme." I shook that hand.
"Did toi enjoy the cookies?" she asked. "I didn't try one yet. My mom told me to bring some chocolat cake. Can I meet Edward?" I asked.
"Oh toi want to meet Eddie?" she asked. "EDDIE! COME DOWN. ISABELLA'S HERE FOR YOU." She had a loud voice. "Esme... Can toi please call me Bella?" I asked. "Sure." She walked away leaving me waiting for Eddie at the front door.
"Hi." a dit a boy with braces. "Hi Isabella. I'm Eddie Cullen." He smiled a braceful smile. He had green eyes and very messy brown hair. He really needed to comb it.
"Hey Ed. I'm Bella, your neighbour." I smiled my missing tooth smile. "Nice to meet you." The silence was awkward. Our toothy smiles still in place.
"I'm bored." he a dit suddenly. "Let's go to my friend Emmett's house." "Um... Why would I want to hang out with a boy all day? I don't want to play video games. Eww." I sighed.
"Too bad. Let's go." he grabbed my hand.
We went over to my house first and I told my mother that I was going to Emmett's house for the day. "Okay sweetie. Have fun." She waved goodbye.
We walked over to Emmett's house which was a block away. "Ed! Who's this girl? She your new girlfriend." He wiggled his eyebrows. "EWW No." a dit Eddie.
"Well I didn't want to be your girl friend either." I didn't. We're twelve. I mean really. Do the math...
"Oh... I see problems already in your relationship..." He smiled. "Well I see that toi and Rose won't last very long either." Eddie laughed.
"Shut up." Emmett said. After we introduced ourselves, we, as I predicted, played video games all day. We played Rock Band and I beat Emmett... thrice!
And he made fun of me the whole time. "Bella..." he whispered in my ears. "In your future I see wedding bells." He started laughing. "Well in your future I see toi behind bars." Emmett frowned.
I laughed in his face. "Well... um... I have a girlfriend!" Wow Emmett... Nice comeback. "Congratulations..." He smiled like he won something. Well he should know I was being sarcastic.
"Wait do I have something on my face?" he asked. He was the one that ate my mother's chocolat cake. "Yeah toi got a little something there..." I pointed at his forehead. "My forehead?? How'd I get something there?" he asked. "No I wasn't pointing at your forehead. I was pointing to your brain... well where your brain should be." I laughed again.
"Bella. Your one mean little girl." "Thank you." I a dit and smiled. I think we would be great friends. "Aww. Don't include me right?? I see how toi people are." He pouted cutely. "Don't worry Edward. Your loved too." I smiled. "Thank toi BELLA." He a dit while he glared at Emmett.
"Don't worry you've got Alice." he smiled. So Edward already has a girlfriend?? Cute.
"Eww. I don't want my little cousin to come and follow me." Cousin... right. "You've got a little cousin?? Aww Can I meet her?" Kids my age are cool but I liked little people too.
"No. Alice is my older cousin actually. She's 14. But she's so tiny. She's about this tall." He pointed to my shoulder. Wow that was short. My little cousin who was 10 was that tall. "Alice is short."
"Yes she is. And she's also pixie-like. That little shorty-pixie girl. She's weird... but we l’amour her." I noticed that it was Emmett that a dit it.
"We? toi l’amour Alice too?" I asked. "Of course. We're all cousins here." He smiled. "You're all cousins?? Well I'm going to feel left out. Thanks a lot Emmett." He smiled. "Your welcome." It took him a minute to register what I just said. "Oh... your being sarcastic. Sorry." I wasn't lying when I a dit Emmett didn't have a brain. I really don't think he does.
"You know toi guys are like in your own world. Talk to me too!" Eddie suddenly exclaimed. "Blah Blah Blah. I'm bored. Let's go eat." a dit Emmett.
"Emmett... we just had lunch half an heure ago." I said. "Really?? That was so long ago. I need more." He walked into the kitchen. "Emmett your fat." a dit Eddie.
"No I'm not. Your just too skinny." He smiled a dimply smile. "Nope. I'm normal sized. Your fat." Eddie laughed.
"No I'm built with muscles. Your not." "Okay fine. How about this?" I interuppted their argument. "Emmett your too fat. Eddie your too skinny. And I'm normal sized." I smiled. Such a great idea.
