“My eyes…”

My chocolat colored eyes were gone and I knew they would not come back, EVER. I got afraid if Edward didn’t like me the way he did before.

“Of course I do!”

Edward a dit with a smile on his face. What?! He could read my mind now?

“I can’t believe it! What?! It’s so unfair! I want my silenced-mind back!”

I tapped my legs on the ground and growled. Then Emmet came in the room, with a big grin on his face.

“Hey sis”

He hugged me with his huge hands and when Rosalie showed up, he immediately put me down.

“Edward, can we please go somewhere which has privacy?”

Edward looked at me with a confused expression. His mouth was wide open and then he came closer to me and said:

“Did toi say anything?”

“I said, I want to be with toi somewhere ALONE!”

He got my hand and then we were in Carlisle’s office.

“What Edward?”

“Bella can talk with me without speaking! I can hear her… and it’s not her mind… it’s like she’s talking to me… just me, and no one hears her…”

Carlisle’s eyes got wide open too as he looked at my face. I had a power, at least.

“Bella, You’re gifted!”

“Thank you, Carlisle”

I couldn’t control this ability of mine. How could I?

Carlisle smiled and said:

“Bella, I know that you’re not thirsty right now, but… toi should hunt… your body seems weak for a newborn.”

“I think you’re right… but I don’t know how to hunt?”

This time I knew that I had say it aloud. Edward was in the front and I was beside him, looking curiously at what he wanted to do. We ran to the jungle, and I felt wind threw my hair while we were running. It felt so good to run that fast, it was like the world was a sideshow and it was moving so fast.

“Stay here!”

I nodded as Edward went a little farther and came back before I could count to three.

“What can toi smell?”

“I don’t know… a few lions… and some armadillos! But lions smell better!”

I got the smell and I followed the trails and then I ripped heads of two ou three lions at a time. If I were a human at that moment, I would probably faint.

“I think these are enough for today Bella… toi did a good job!”

I smiled as I cleaned the blood from my face. We were in the house and it was around midnight when everyone came around me and Edward, and stood with smiles on their faces. I looked at each one of them; Alice, Esme, Rosalie, Jasper, Emmet and Carlisle.
Now… they were my family!

“We have a surprise for toi two!”

Rosalie hesitated before she began speaking. I could tell she wanted to just plough into an entire heure long speech but she considered her words carefully. She didn’t want to upset me which was weird but good.

As usual, at night, I sticked par Bella's side, watching her sleep in peace. It made me smile when she a dit my name over and over again. Sometimes she make full sentences saying, "I l’amour you, Edward."
I kissed her forehead, and said, "I never get tired of toi saying saying that, I will always l’amour toi too."
As if she could hear me, she smiled slightly and drifted into deeper sleep.
I rubbed her arm, letting her know that I will never leave her out of my sight again.
