"Well, um, Bella I didn't imprint on Katie," Jacob said

"I'm not buying it," I said.

"I know it's hard to believe. And I know that she kissed my cheek. And I'm not trying to offend her but, she thinks that I am going out with her. But I'm not, because I imprinted on someone else," Jacob said.

"Then who is she?"

"She's my Dad's old Friends daughter. And she moved here. And I have to be her friend. But, she doesn't get that we aren't a couple," Jacob said, while shaking his head.

"Then who did toi imprint on?" I asked.

There was a moment of silence. He was probably thinking about if he should answer ou if he should just avoid the question. I heard Jacob mumble something but I couldn't make out what he said.

"What?" I said.

"You," he mumbled again but this time I heard it loud and clear.

Did he really just say that he imprinted on me? No. I must have heard him wrong. Yes, I heard him wrong. But, I just had to ask.

"Me?"

"Yeah," Jacob a dit as he raised his eyes to meet mine.

"But, wouldn't Alice know?" right after I asked that question I remembered what Alice told me when she was trying to convince me to wait for Jacob here in his room.

Alice's words rang in my ears. I would have to thank her later.

"Alice can't see loups garous in her visions. So, she can't see my future. And I'm sure Edward heard my thoughts. Just, toi know that he wouldn't tell toi that I imprinted of you," Jacob a dit while looking down.

"So Edward told Alice..." I a dit out loud, but mostly to myself.

"Probably," Jacob mumbled.

Then it really hit me. A smile spread across my face and I threw my arms around Jacob.

"I l’amour toi Bella," Jacob a dit sweetly.

I pulled my face from his chest and kissed him. It was the sweetest Kiss I had ever had in my life. After just a few seconds, I pulled away.I was about to tell him that I loved him too, but Jacob and I were interrupted par Katie.

"JACOB! WHO IS THAT?" Katie screamed.

I stood up from his lit instantly and darted from the room. I should have stood up for myself, but I just did not want to have to deal with her.

"AND DON"T COME BACK!" I heard Katie yell from Jacob's room.

Gosh. She's overprotective. I walked out the door and realized that I didn't have a ride. I longed to be with Jacob. But Katie just had to mess it up.

I dialed my cell. Alice answered.

"Hey! How'd it go?" Alice said.

"Great. But I don't have someone to drive me home," I said, annoyed at Alice for leaving me here.

"I thought Jacob would drive toi home," Alice said, confused.

"He is dealing with Katie," I said, as if it should be obvious.

"Oh, don't worry. I will be there soon!" Alice said, then hung up.

I sat down on the steps that led up to the door of Jacob's house. I was thinking about how I could call Jacob, 'My Jacob', again. I couldn't get the smile off my face. He imprinted on me. He really imprinted on me. I was rêverie when Alice arrived to pick me up.

"Earth to Bella," Alice said.

I gasped, then realized that it was only Alice.

"Alice toi scared me!" I said.

"So how did it go?" Alice said.

"Great! Thank toi so much I don't know how to repay you!" I said, standing up.

"You don't have to!" Alice said, then she hugged me. "Come on, toi can tell me all about it on the way to your house!" Alice said.

"Okay!" I said, following her to her car.
