I closed my eyes, involuntarily. Damn, why did I have to get caught!?!?
I turned around to see Edward's hard face slowly.
"Hi..." I said, a little nervous.
Angela just stared at Edward with a shocked expression.
"You need to leave." Edward simply said.
"What's going on in there? That girl should go to the hospital for her arm!" I argued.
"We will take care of that." Edward said.
"What was Jasper doing?" I asked.
Edward sighed.
"You need to go, and not tell anyone, not even your parents, not even your your Friends about what toi just saw." Edward threatened.
I just nodded. I wasn't sure I could keep that promise.
Edward sighed in relief.
Then Alice yelled.
"EDWARD! HELP ME BRING JASPER OUTSIDE!"
Edward didn't turn.
"Please, Bella. Don't tell anyone about this." Edward pleaded in whisper.
His voice was so persuasive, and so sincere. It made me feel like I was "dazzled" ou some sort. Maybe even charmed.
Against my will, I said, "You have my words."
"Thank you." he a dit and went back inside the dorm.
Shoot... what am I supposed to do about that!!?!? I need to have a little talk with Alice Cullen when she gets back to our dorm.
Angela and I were walking back to the cafeteria to meet with the others. Angela was asking me a bunch of questions about what I saw. I ignored her. I kept muttering to myself why I promised Edward, and why I felt like I had to keep it a secret. UGH! It's like he put a spell on me!
We went through the cafeteria doors and saw the rest already back in their seats, waiting for us. Angela and I sat.
"We didn't have any luck." Mike explained.
"Did toi find Alice?" Jessica asked.
I didn't answer. But Angela did.
"Bella and I found Alice. But only Bella was able to look at the scene. She wouldn't tell me what's going on because Edward Cullen told her to keep it a secret." Angela a dit while giving me an accusing glare. I rolled my eyes.
"Why would toi keep a promise with Edward Cullen? Spill! What happened back there with Alice saying something about Jasper?" Mike urged.
I didn't say anything again. I don't know how to explain what I saw and I do feel like I need to keep the scene of the Cullens a secret. I just sat there, silent, when they were still staring at me.
"Come on Bella! Please tell us!" Angela begged.
My thoughts were all messed up at the moment, I couldn't think straight. I could only think about that horrid scene I saw. I shuddered.
"I don't think I can." I whispered.
Everyone glared at me with a dirty look.
"Of course toi can explain to us what toi saw!" Tyler said, completely clueless.
I stood up from my chair.
"I just don't think... that I should tell you." I said.
Before anyone could say anything else, I went out of the door, not knowing what to do now, except to find out the secret behind that scene, and who that girl that got attacked was....
