This is plus like a rant, but I'd like to hear if toi guys feel the same as I do.
So far Kristen, Rob, Kellan, Nikki, and Peter have been caught smoking. Rob is also a well-known drunk, and in almost every picture there's something wrong with Kristen's eyes, like they're bloodshot ou out of focus ou something creepy like that. I mean, I know they're under pressure, but can't they handle it better than this?
Honestly, I think the whole cast is out of control. I mean, I have read articles that say that Kristen 'makes it no secret that she likes to unwind par smoking pot' and Rob 'is drunk every night par 6:00 pm'. There are also pictures of Nikki and Kristen fighting over a cigarette while Taylor just looks, uh, annoyed.
But really, I'm worried! Smoking ANYTHING affects your body horribly. How will this affect their jouer la comédie performances???
I really wish they would stop it. I'm SO glad that so far Elizabeth, Jackson, Taylor, and Ashley have not been spotted smoking at all! If they start, I don't know what I'll do. It bothers me a LOT, because I feel like they're setting bad examples! Stephenie Meyer wrote this great book, and some of the characters she has created are excellent role models, in my opinion. (i.e. I admire Bella's strength, Edward's self-control, Jasper's dedication to the 'vegetarian' diet for Alice, and Jacob's caring nature.) So far Taylor and Jackson have been the best they can be (not that the others didn't do a FANTASTIC job, those 2 are just my favori actors in the movie!), but Kristen and Rob are losing my approval. Kristen IS a naturally strong girl, and I NEVER pictured her behaving like this.
This has got to stop. Does anyone agree with me?

musiclikelove look, despite our own personal beliefs, they are actors. i really disapprove of smoking because it's killed people i love, and my father does it. but they are not edward or bella or emmett or carlisle in real life. their job is simply to portray that character on screen, not to live as the perfect example of a human being 24/7. it is hypocritical for people to get angry at actors for making bad decisions, when if it were anyone else, it wouldn't matter. they are not payed to set good examples. they are payed to act. as far as what they do, it really is none of our business. if they want to ruin their bodies, or destroy their lungs and livers, its their own problem, and our interference is not going to change anything. it's unfair to treat them as if they are doing something wrong for doing something that a lot of people do. most people do not have good coping methods, so it's really unfair to expect them to be any better but then expect them to act like normal people too.

just_bella Well personally I think that it is their lives, they should live them how they want. Their smoking/drinking may be their way of relieving stress (not that this is the best way.) I think people shouldn't judge them because of what they do on their own time, we're still going to watch the movies and love the books no matter what. Just my idea, I understand if everyone doesn't agree.

Not with you, with the comments saying "it's their life," and "it's unfair cause a lot of people do it," these people are role models for thousands of people, not all of them clever enough or old enough to make desicons about if the things they do are good or not. I don't care who it is, i think smoking and drinking and smoking pot are all bad life choices, and i will think less of someone for doing them no matter who they are. But these Rob and Kristen have been made into people who are watched and looked up to, and they don;t deserve that if they are throwing away their lives like this. Jackson and Taylor are my fav actors too, and i'm very pleased neither of them go in for this kinda thing

musiclikelove well, i understand where you're coming from, but when they signed on to do this, i'm pretty sure that their contract did not include being the perfect role model for thousands of kids. it is not their job to be a good example. if kids decide that they want to do things like smoking and drinking because rob and kristen and do it, that is their own stupid choice. it's not the actor's problem if kids decide to copy them. it's not like they told the kids that the only way to be cool is smoking and drinking. kids should make their choices on their own, not based on what the celebrities do. if a kid thinks that smoking and drinking is cool, then blame it on the environment they were raised in, and the person that raised them, not on celebrities who aren't even trying to set examples. and honestly, nobody has any right to say that they are "throwing their lives away" just because they smoke. they seem to be pretty successful, despite the smoking and drinking, so it doesn't look like they are "throwing their lives away" at all.

jacob-superhoty I totally agree. Smoking is a bad thing to do. But, at the same time I also agree that the actors and actresses lives are their own problem. But they are old enough to know that they effect people's lives. If not then maybe I should get smarter favorite actresses and actors. Oh,and lastly I agree with teamalice_0. Ashley Greene is my fav actress too!

aLeX-cHaP sure it is their own life, but they are in the public eye and they should be setting an example for the kids that look up to them. i agree that they didnt ask to be role models but they are. personally i hate smoking and have seen what it does to peoples health and for their own sake i hope they can find the strength and power to be able to quit. well im glad that ashley and jackson dont, they are definately still my favourites

mcs50 Definitively, I don't like smoking. A lot of people I loved, passed away "thanks" to cigarettes. I have a friend studying at medicine school and once he showed me a few human lungs, some from people that used to smoke and some from no smokers. The difference was shocking...the smoker lungs were dark purple, with black spots, like if you had put a sponge on a BBQ... the no-smoker lungs were pink and looked like a brand new sponge. People with public lives should be more careful that annonymous people, because many people, especially young people, takes them as model. 5***** to Ashley :) She's my favorite too

LoveTwilight_xx my favourite actress Ashley Greene, thank goodness she doesnt smoke.Jackson rathbone doesn't either, he is my fave actor :D I think that they should be careful, because I have people who are close to me, who smoke, I know what it can do to you. If you think about it, it's their choice, but they're role models to younger people, teenagers even. Think if, for example, Kristen Stewart is a thirteen year old's role model. Would that girl think it would be cool to smoke cigarettes or even pot because Kristen does it? How much cooler does that make them? I disagree completley with smoking, and I think that people with public lives should be more carful. I just hope that the rest of the cast, the ones who don't already smoke, don't start as well.

Sarah_Louise well, i tend not to rely on the movies that much because i think the books are the important thing and i was a little disappointed when i saw the movie, so i dont really care how the actors cope with stress. they can do what they want. the books arent gonna change whether the actors do a good job or not and to me its the books that count. the movies are just and extra bit of entertainment so i dont get to fussed about it.

There is a casting scam going on regarding Breaking Dawn that has caught a couple of people. Lana Veenker, who cast several of the roles in Twilight, explains how the scam works and how not to get caught up in something like that!

I always reply 'no', there is no such thing as a vampire for starters, but apart from that, there could be no one, as loving, as kind, as dedicated as Edward, but people belive they are guys out there, that are like Edward.

so i have decided to do a experiment. i would like ten girls plus me, to become a team and to build up a dating site, for people who are aged 12 to 16. after a mois of this, we will ask all the girls who joined the site, did they find someone (a guy) who was as loving and kind and dedicated as Edward. after we find out the results, we will post them here for you!
