I glared at my best friend and the guy i was madly in l’amour with. He smiled montrer off his sexy dimples. I looked into his blue eyes as he looked into my dark green eyes. I sighed "please for me dont go" i whined looking up at his tall muscular figure. He smiled down at me "Skyler stop whining i'll be back in three days tops" He a dit s’embrasser my forehead. "Emmett Please!" i begged him. He shook his head "shut up Skye" he a dit getting annoyed with me. "fine Emmett, go out there!" i yelled getting mad at him now. Emmett Dale McCarty is my best friend and true love. We've known each other from the jour our mothers made us play together at the age of 3 because they were best friends. I sighed as i walked away from him and heading for the McCarty house. "Skyler!" Emmett called after me but i didnt listen to him and i walked towards the house.
I passed the grange where i popped my head in to see Emmett's older brother Aaron cleaning the horse stall. "Hi Aaron" i a dit smiling at the brown haired blue eyed freak i l’amour as a brother. I loved all of Emmett's sibling as if they were my own. I had an older brother and older sister. Both were 25, and 23. I am 20 and my pa has been trying to get me married.
But i keep telling my pa i didnt wanna marry anyone. My ma thought i had gone insane until she clicked it all together and found out that i was in l’amour with Emmett. My dad had started to deny a lot of men because my ma plead with him to let me choose my own husband. Right now i was mad at Emmett because he wanted to go on a camping trip with his friend Richard who i didnt like so much. Richard was an idiot, drunk ou not. Yeah Emmett drinks and i do too but shhh pa dosnt know.Pa hates the fact that i am not like my ma, a women who stays accueil and cooks for her husband. I'd rather be on the fields working.
I made my way to the house and got in being greeted par Patch the old hound dog that belong to Nicholas. Emmett's ma came out smiling at me I smiled at the small women. She had the amazing Blue eyes that Emmett inherited and she had long black hair that was wavy and reached to her waist. She was wearing a long green jupe and her hair was tied into a neat bun. "how are toi dear?" she asked me as she went back to her cooking. "im good Alison" i said. She nodded her head and smiled at me. "will toi be out on the porch again with Emmett?" she asked as she poked at the fire. I nodded my head and bit my lip.
Emmett and I would usually sit on his porch before it gets dark and he would play guitare while i sang to any song he strung. I smiled thinking about it and i grabbed a freshly picked pomme from the wooden table, tableau Howard McCarty made with his own hands. Emmett's pa. I cleaned the pomme on my white dress that Alison had made for me and bit into it. I walked out onto the porch and Emmett was already sitting out on it holding his guitare in his hand. I smiled as i sat in front of him. He strung a few notes and i started to sing "one jour when the sky is falling, ill be standing right suivant to you, right suivant to you. nothing will ever come between us, ill be standing right suivant to you, right suivant to youuuuu..." i sang smiling at Emmett. He smiled at me with a bright dimple smile that i love.
My cœur, coeur pounded in my chest and i smiled wider. I went on chant for a while and we enjoyed ourselves like every night. Me and Emmett were spending our last night together, but of course we didnt know that.
I woke up the suivant morning and i rushed over to the McCarty's farm on my horse Cobalt. I hopped off my horse as Jackson smiled at me and went to Cobalt and led him to the barn. I rushed towards the house where Emmett was sitting on the steps laughing with Richard. I smiled at him and stood in front of him. He stood up and smiled at me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and his arms wrapped around my waist. I hugged him close to me and i didnt wanna let go. I smiled at him as i pulled back "stay safe" i a dit smiling at him. "stay you" he a dit laughing. I rolled my eyes and hugged him again. He grabbed his gun and his bag. He kissed my forehead and a dit "try have fun without me" "ill try not to" i a dit laughing a little. He smiled brightly at me "well Bye Skyler" "bye Emmett" i a dit waving my best friend goodbye.

I ran and ran trying to get away from Carl. I looked at the trees here covered in snow. I pushed my self faster when i heard Carl's sickening voice say "Skyler come back, my love". Carl is a human drinking vampire who thinks im his mate. I thought he was a disgusting man. I had ran into him on one of my hunting trips a an il y a and he wont let me be. He wants me to be his mate and wants me to drink human blood. Yes i am a vampire, but i drink animal blood as much as i hate to do it i have to.
I screamed at the haut, retour au début of my lungs as i came towards a big wooden house here in Canada. "HELP ME!" i yelled. The front door opened and out came a blonde male with scars. I ran up to him and he looked at me confused. "help me, your a vampire help me" i plead. He growled and i a dit "please, i come in peace this crazy vampire is after me". He looked at Carl who had just come from the arbre line. He smirked at me "Skyler come over here 'Darling'" "Ew stay away from me!" i yelled backing my way towards the blonde.
The blonde started to crouch into a defensive stance at Carl. Carl stopped and froze looking at the blonde male "hey buddy im just here to get my mate" he said. "Go away" the blonde a dit in a southern accent. I smiled inwardly hearing it. Carl glared "ill be back for toi Skyler" he hissed out at me. I glared at his retreating figure. "thank you..." "Jasper" "Thank toi Jasper" i a dit smiling. "it was nothing" he a dit smiling "whats your name?" "Skyler, Skyler Thomas" i a dit smiling. He then a dit "will toi come in?" he asked. i nodded my head and walked inside a house that had suitcases all over the place. I looked at him confused and he a dit "me and my mate are going to go back accueil to our family". I nodded my head and a dit "where is your mate?" He frowned "in Italy trying to save my brother" he said. I nodded my head and didnt pray.
I smiled at Jasper and a dit "well i better be going off" i said. Jasper shook his head "come with me to Washington. toi cant go out there with that guy after you" i shook my head at him "i cant ill be intruding" i said. "NONSENSE!" Jasper a dit smiling. I smiled back "only for a jour ou two" i a dit glaring at him slightly. He smiled "so how old are you?" he asked. "a hundred ou something, but La Reine des Neiges at 21" i said.Jasper nodded "im a few hundred years old but La Reine des Neiges at 18" he said. I smiled "from the south?" "texas, you?" "Tennessee" i a dit proudly. He laughed "you sound like my other brother" he said. I smiled "well i guess we will get along" i said.
