"Bella, could toi come to the front. Bella, the front." Mike Newton's voice echoed through the store.
"Excuse me." I smiled apoligeticly at the couple I was helping and walked around them. "What is it?" I met Mike on my way there.
"You have a visitor." He wouldn't look at me and wisked right par me.
"Okay." I whispered to myself. I ran my hand down the items on the shelves, something I had done since I was little. I smiled as I thought back on the times I would grocery boutique with Renee. I would run down the isle's my hand stuck out, my fingertips touching everything I passed.
I pulled my hand back and put it in my vest pocket as I reached the end of the isle. There he was, standing in is unhumaly, godlyness, smiling that same crooked, half-smile he gave me every other day, and my breath was caught in my throat. I slowly walked up to him and stopped when I was a few feet away. "Hey."
"Hi." He smiled.
"What are toi doing here?" I gestured to the store, my hands still in the vest pockets.
"My family wants to meet you." He put his hands in his jean's pocket.
"Now?" I was begining to panick. I could feel my cœur, coeur speed up, and Edward chuckled. I knew he could hear it.
"No." He chuckled. "Tomorrow."
"Oh." The thudding in my ears dulled. "Okay. What time."
"I could come pick toi up at ten tomorrow morning." He suggested.
"Okay, yeah."
"Don't eat before toi come."
"Why?" I could feel the confusion on my face.
"Esme insists on fixing toi brunch." He smiled.
"She doesn't have to." I shook my head.
"Like I said, she insists."
I couldn't help the small smile that escaped my lips. "Okay." I nodded.

I guess I could start from the beining, so toi would know what the crap I'm talking about and who the hell Edward is. Yeah, sounds like a good idea.

It was dark. Teetering on the line of 9 pm. A little sliver of the moon was montrer a pale orange. There was no sign that the sun had even exisited now this time of March.
I had drove 1,500 miles now. Comming from Phenoix to Forks, Washington to live with my dad, Charlie. My mom and her new husband were going out of the country to live for a while. There was no way I was going to déplacer somewhere where I couldn't read anything, couldn't speak the language, and couldn't set the nourriture because again, I couldn't read ou speak the language. I wouldn't even know wehre to start making friends. Seriously. I can't even say 'hi' in Portuguese.
I noticed the orange sliver had dissapeared behind the gray clouds of Forks. The stars were far and few inbetween and the only lights shining while I made my way down the curvy road were the headlights on my black VW CC. They where high lighting the mailboxes that were starting to line the road, telling me I was close to Charlie's. I was getting nervous to see him. It had been three years since I last saw him and I missed my dad. I was a Daddy's girl, what can I say? I tapped my fingers on the stearing wheel as the radio faintly played through the speakers, and I leaned foward in my seat, looking out for my mailbox.
I smiled when I saw the numbers and turned in the drive, putting it in park and turning off the engine. I popped the trunk, pulling out my back pack, duffle bag, and carrying suit case. I closed the tronc and walked my way to the door. IT swung open infront of me and I was inveleped in a strong hug.
"Bella!" My dad laughed. He pulled back and looked back at me with chocolat brown eyes like my own. "How was your drive?" He asked, taking my suitcase and bag.
"Long." I laughed.
He led me up the stairs to my old room. "I, uh, hope toi like it."
It was painted a light blue. Dark brown furnature and a bureau lined my walls. The mur that my lit was against was a pale yet bright yellow with a brown design. Dark brown curtins doned the windows and a large flat screen hung able the dresser.
"This is amazing. Did toi do this?" I asked.
He laughed aloud. "Funny. No, Alice Cullen. Her and her family live behind the trees in the back. About half a mile. He's really great. She's comming up here tomorrow around lunch. She's a Jr this an too, so toi will know someone."
"Thanks, Dad." I smiled and kissed his cheek. "I'm going to clean up then get into bed. It's been a long day."
"Alright." He kissed my head. "Good night, baby."
"Night, Dad." I whispered and he walked back down stairs.
I unpacked all my clothes, grabbed my beg and headed to the shower. I let the hot water run thorugh my hair, untighten my muscles and steam away my thoughts. When I steped out, I dressed in sweats and a t-shirt and climbed into bed.
I pulled the covers up over my chin as I listened to the soft rain hit my window. Before I could even get a coherent throught out, I sliped into sleep.

“It’s okay, love, you’re fine. I’m here.” I was trying to ease her. “Did toi have another nightmare? It wasn’t real, it wasn’t real.”
“Not a nightmare.” She shook her head, scrubbing the back of hand against her eyes.
“It was a good dream.” Her voice broke again. I was completely confused. Then why are these tears building again in her eyes and falling?
“Then why are toi crying?” I asked, bewildered.
“Because I woke up,” She wailed, wrapping her arms around my neck, getting closer to me. I felt her uneven gasps on my throat. It was out of logic, what she was saying....

TWILIGHT - chapter 8 - PORT ANGELES

"Get in," a furious voice commanded.
It was amazing how instantaneously he choking fear vanished, amazing how suddenly the feeling of security washed over me - even before I was off the rue - as soon as I heard his voice. I jumped into the seat, slamming the door shut behind me.
It was dark in the car, no light had come on with the opening of the door, and I could barely see his face in the glow from the dashboard. The tires squealed as he spun around to face north, accelerating too quickly, swerving toward the stunned men on the street....

Internet humor describing the Edward/Bella relationship as pedophilia
Internet humor describing the Edward/Bella relationship as pedophilia
Among the various criticisms thrown out against Twilight is the allegation that the series promotes pedophilia. This is generally in reference to the relationship between Jacob and Renesmee, but sometimes it refers to the relationship between Edward and Bella because of their significant age differences. I believe that this is a misunderstanding of what auteur Stephenie Meyer intended to portray here, which is not true pedophilia, and is not immoral in and of itself.

Pedophilia is a type of paraphilia in which mature adults feel sexual attraction to prepubescent children. This (unhealthy) attraction...

chapter 20. VOLTERRA
WE BEGAN THE STEEP CLIMB, AND THE ROAD GREW CONGESTED. As we wound higher, the cars became too close together for Alice to weave insanely between them anymore. We slowed to a crawl behind a little tan Peugeot.
"Alice," I moaned. The clock on the dash seemed to be speeding up.
"It's the only way in," she tried soothe me. But her voice was too strained to comfort.
The cars continued to edge forward, one car length at a time. The sun beamed down brilliantly, seeming already overhead.
The cars crept one par one toward the city. As we got closer, I could see cars parked par the...
